I'd probably hurl my codex or at least give a death glare at anyone who tried to say that Epidemius affects Mark of Nurgle chaos space marine units. And I'd probably not be alone in doing so.

Any reason why? Two guys down at my local GW are playing with a list like this in the Apocalypse campaign.

Codex Writer Matt Ward had this to say: "Well, I looked at dark eldar and said to myself 'this is a decent start, but they need more latex, drugs, and sexy bits...' And that's when it hit me! Slaanesh would be a perfect addition to the dark eldar! I just made him their patron god they worshipped and boom! Problem solved!"

If this happens I will weep for all dark eldar players. forgive me but i just had to type that

I hope that man will never get to touch the DE codex and ruin them for me.

But an idea I got and may acually do would be Crimson Fists and IG. Converting the IG as Rynn's world PDF and make the army to represent the defenders of New Rynn City. I think that would be cool... and fluffy!

Yes some people do. The inquisition in 40k should force the heretics to sit in a comfortable chair and poke them with pillows... that would make a priceless diorama.

Yes some people do. The inquisition in 40k should force the heretics to sit in a comfortable chair and poke them with pillows... that would make a priceless diorama.

High probability it would be less effective =/ Would be a nice change for the grim dark though!

way back in 98/99 I used to play 2 on 2 games, where I had my IG, and was good at guessing range (thank you BFG nova cannons) so I would take Mortors and Basks and sit back behind a UltraMarine force (I painted my guys with a dash of blue and the tanks had blue plates on them)
I would rain fire down on people, and rush in for objectives, freeing the Marines up.

Now I do not need a 2 on 2 game for fire support and death from above.

Any way, how about Grey Knights/Sisters of Battle? Just fluffy, as heretics can quickly lead to demons.
