In all seriousness though, World of Warcraft, no joke. Playing that game made my sympathize with comic-book villains that wanted to exterminate humanity.

Aye I still can recall all the rage that was aimed at me when I, during a raid happend to ask what I thougth a harmless question, that and the fiends that take joy in rubbing everyones noses in how much "better" they are at said game

What annoys me most about WoW at the moment is how pointless the vote-kick option is in dungeons. Usually the people you want to kick can't be kicked again for another <insert time it'd take to finish the dungeon here> minutes, and if you leave to get away from them then you're penalised by not being able to requeue.

For example, in an HC Scholo run I had a few days ago we had a Monk who queued as a healer, but was a DPS, a shadow priest who refused to act as stand-in healer, and another DPS who left and was replaced by a Shaman with 15mins of res sickness left. The Monk and Shaman couldn't be kicked for another 10mins, the dungeon wasn't about to be completed any time soon, and I left and was hit with a "You can't queue for another 6 minutes" for both dungeons and scenarios. -.-

It's crap like that that really gets me.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

To be fair, with the items available currently, heroic dungeons are absurdly easy to solo, for any class.

TF2's community is pretty awful. The community falls into 2 categories: people who have no idea what they're doing and don't care about anything beyond messing around, and the "1337 pro" types who rant on about how MY TEAM ARE ALL IDIOTS because they're not running the exact same build as him, witter on for ages about weapon/class tier lists and how anyone who plays Heavy is an idiot and how everyone should play Sniper and so on...

In fact, I could crop my answer down to the "Pro/hardcore" gaming scene as a whole. Because computer games are serious business!

When I briefly played TF2, I found that I started in category 1, and found it incredibly difficult to move beyond that because everyone else was either also in category 1, or in category 2, and thus refused to help me beyond 'lol you suck n00b!!1!!!!11!!1one!'

Available =/= everyone has them. There are times where you get that HC SoO-geared DPS that boosts an entire party through a couple of HCs in a few minutes, but more often than not you still need a party to actually be capable of some sort of cohesion. All my gear is base timeless isle stuff at least, with about 4 timeless pieces, 2-3 raid finders, and a crafted belt, but even as a Frost DK I can't come close to carrying entire groups on my own, and most people in the groups I get are similarly geared. I wish I could just log in and ask a GM for the best raid gear available, but unfortunately I can't.

Killing Floor.

only game I've ever played where you can be kicked, and be told it was because you suck, when your kill count is more than triple the next highest player.

Also the only game I have played recently where in order to prevent trolling, servers have had to install a mod to make the players pass through each other between rounds.

I've never had an issues in Killing floor, nor TF2 for that matter.

Fair enough. Still, honestly, Raid Finder exists. The 528 gear from there (Which can be upgraded to 544) is super-strong compared to Timeless Isle gear. Assuming you get 540, you are now one hundred item levels above the requirement, which makes... A lot of difference.

Grind your brain to destruction in Raid Finder and your problems will go away.

I had the fortune of still being in a raid team in early 5.4, granting me a fair few Normal items before I took a break. So I am sitting at item level 567 now, or well over 300K dps on Garrosh flex.

Ugh, don't mention RF. >.< If the raid isn't mind-numbingly stupid then it's full of control-freaks and people who treat everything as if they're going for a Heroic Garrosh run. I'd sooner dip my bollocks in oil and deep fry them. Again.
