Not where I should be

Well here is mine finished e-mail will be off just shortly.

Spoilering the rest for time.
Spoiler:

This is going to be a great competition as always, and I have no illusions, I am already beaten, but don't let that stop you, I have learnt so much from these comps, thank you.

Excellent job Cam you should take a bow as it looks great and you really captured the vibe perfectly

Shame as I was so inspired by yours that I wanted to really have a go at this, however after starting it I have found my GS has gone to crap I have ordered some more but still no sign of it and the post has been today

Still got tomorrow but really is leaving me short on time even if it arrives, so it is looking really slim that I am going to achieve what I wanted to do.

But good luck to the rest

I probably won't be done in time. Sorry guys, but illness has stopped me dead in my tracks. If I recover in time I'll crack on, it's not looking likely though.

So you have lost an arm? Been struck blind?

Really sorry to see people drop out. Mind you as it stands I might win 3rd prize by default, enough people don't finish. Cool!

I've kind of worked backwards. I have most of the miniature painted. Still doing some touch-up on it and then finish the base for it. I should be done in time.

I'll never make it in time to paint it and my minds gone all blank. I'm loving the blood on that ork though. Good luck ya'll

That concept inmygravenimage! Wow dude I never thought I'd see a stripping termie but you've managed to accomplish that in an amazing fashion. Sisters repentia sadly aren't good for much but they are good at this apparently!

That ork is phenomenal. The blood stands out so perfectly and that base is really cool. I really dig the checks too, I think they add to the black and white theme greatly.

Amazing work thus far to anyone who's been working on this project. Grey-tones are not easy to work in but you're all doing it beautifully. Really excited to see what some of these turn out like!

I have to say guys this is turning into a truly epic thread!

All of the entries are looking fantastic so far! That said I have to say I love Camkierhi's in particular, couldn't be any more sin city meets 40k.

As for my humble offerings, well I admit I havn't had very much time at all but I still wanted to join in so have spent bits of my evenings making this, its just a sisters of battle nursey type with a new helmet and minor greenstuff to tie it all in. The painting is very lacking but I am quite pleased with the snow effects, not very skilful perhaps but personally I quite like the effect.

Also Vik, great minds, I also used the 40k lamppost!

anyway enough gabbing, cant wait to see how this goes, still got fingers crossed for third prize.....

Nice work guys Vik loving the sneakers really catches the eye nice job indeed J-Paint loving the snow and icicles really does look cold and good call on the green

Well my GS still has not turned up even looked to the old milliput in the bottom of my tool box but thats like rock as well

So my idea of making the Yellow Bastard out of a Goblin has gone out of the window, however I am going to still make it as I have chopped up the bloody Goblin ready for the GS

Nice work people.

Graven, that still brings a smile to my face. But good job on the painting too.

Good progress Insaniak. I'm eager to find out what "happened" to that marine.

Vik, great work. You seem to have pushed yourself with this one. Good choice on the colour placement. Base is nicely done too.

Nice piece J-Paint. That's very pretty. Like it. Also good choice for the spot colour.

Spent too much time doing other stuff so had to tear into this today to get it done before the deadline.
Would have liked a bit more time for more freehand work and too add some more details to it.
However, i rather enter something that i can call done for now and actually have an entry.

After this i may spend another few days tinkering with him to get him how i imagined.

But hey ho, them be the stops.

So, my rather old entry (and rather close to the deadline too):

Spent too much time hacking apart the old thing and sorting out his mask than i did any other prep work, so that used alot of my time.
But for now, i call him done
