I don't think it rolls off our tongues like it does theirs deadmeat. I hate to say it, but thanks to dumb people in our country, our word is "like" because why explain things when you can just say like every 5 words

Wow what a ride! what a turn out and what a brilliant stable of artists grabbed their brushes, put on their thinking caps for this one! I'm really honored you guy went all in with reckless abandon and did some simply awesome models.
you ALL should be immensely proud of yourselves a different theme calls for different techniques and some who thought their skills 'ordinary' have shown themselves and everybody else that they have it in them to be a force in the hobby world I was pleasantly suprised at just how much I enjoyed seeing all this come together and your ideas and execution are second to none!

Really amazing job everyone! Soooo hard to judge. So gratifying to see the effort everyone put forth in what was a very interesting competition. If I was painting at the time, I definitely would have entered. Would have gotten CRUSHED by the competition... but would have loved every minute of it!
Way to go gang. You did yourselves proud.

Now I need to find a place to hang this piece of FINE ART! (aw yeah you know you're jealous, guys)
Insaniak and Jpaint- Congratulations!! Those are a couple of great looking minis, Absolutely incredible work you two! I can honestly say that I cant feel bad at all losing out to those. Absolutely FANTASTIC! (next year, though, you punks are going DOWN! )
I also want to give a huge thanks to everyone else who entered. Thanks so much for an awesome contest. I loved seeing everones vastly differing takes on the theme. I, fo one, will be taking a few trick I learned through here and try to use them in my usual painting. One particular technique I absolutely loved was Snrub's harsh lighting + painted shadow. Never woulda though of doin somethin like that!
Till next year, guys!~
Oh, and I would love to hear the judges notes on my entry. Always wanting to know where I can improve!

It's over because we've decided it's over. Now get the hell out of our galaxy! Both of you.

I honestly thought I had no hope with the level of competition this year!
Really chuffed! But i want to congratulate everyone else who entered, if I had been judging I would have found it next to impossible, and mine certainly wouldn't have placed!
Thank you again for organising this though Nerd, was amazing fun, especially as it was something so different. If my current trend continues I'm in line for 3rd place next year, which is secretly where we all wished to place! Come on next year!
And well done everyone else, it was a really tough field of entrants. Good work to the judges and thanks to NF for an entertaining competition.
