Plasma gunner came out well, the champion looks great! Definitely agree it's the pose that makes him stand out.
Are you going to run him as a plasma gun in your command squad? Rapid fire and no charging is not fun. Or are they a counter?

That Champion is gorgeous, totally stealing the idea for my Ultramarines (also stealing that plasma gunner idea) if you don't mind?

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Heyo! So the Hammer vet is done - leaving just the apothecary to be finished. Went for a marble effect on the hammer, and sort of just improvised from there  rather pleased with the result though. Sorry that the images are a smidge dark - it was 7pm when I took them but I was so eager to get them while the sun was still around

I always look forward when a new post is added to this thread, your Ultramarines kinda make me want to re-do my Ultramarine army that I sold last year sometime in the future.

I can’t see how you can stand to have these guys on your shelf. The overwhelming detail, excessive painting, individuality. Shameful. Not what marines should look like. Now, as your friend, I’d be willing to trade them from you for some 2nd ed snap fits, so you could actually have some guys suitable for play. Clean and regimented. I’ve got some spares.

That is incredible. The marble effect is just great.
Slight bit of constructive criticism; the white on the "U" on the shoulderpad is slightly thick and blotchy in places. Though to be honest, everyone's looking at that sweet TH. Not the shoulderpads.

That cape looks super realistic, has a really nice flow to it. You have interesting weapon choices my friend. No Shield Eternal for him so he doesn't get insta killed before or after swinging that mighty fist?

Great use of a powerfist that requires a bit of consideration to uitilise well on a model. It looks like he's bracing for an impact which is a cool and slightly unusual pose.
