When I was going through my Manballfondler ordeal, his local DA said it wasn't big enough, even combined with Alph and others, for them to act. USPS and local PD had about the same reaction.

That's a real shame. If nothing gets done, then it'll just continue to happen. Sure, maybe he'll pay back some people. But not everyone. If he makes a profit, he'll probably consider it a success. And maybe even if he doesn't, depending on what his motivation is.

EDIT:So after seeing the most recent facebook posts as he melts down he's gone in my eyes from (DAKKA approved term for rear end) to (DAKKA approved term for incredibly mentally unstable)

They told me it's their spam filter on their Facebook page that deletes stuff. It's just overloaded so it takes some time before it removes messages...

Well for as far as I know Facebook doesn't have such a filter.

@Alarmingrick: I haven't seen them tell that they quit. Only that they stopped the payment stuff atm. So I won't be so sure about it that they've quit.

And if it did, it wouldn't delete posts from nearly every user who disagrees with them and none from the posters who support them.

What I don't really get is how they even got so many supporters from what I can see from their facebook. It looks like a really shady business from the start, especially when you see the site.

'Liking' on facebook don't necessarily mean that someone actually likes something. It can also just be a handy way of bookmarking a group page, since it appears in your profile in the list of pages that you like.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were Mandelbaum himself to try and trick the few still supporting him that he has a large enough base of followers left in convincing them to blow away their money one last final time before the great disappearing act.

Well it's usually for companies and such. But it doesn't really work as people said here. Spam filters dont whipe your comments directly if you just post one time... Well spam filters is against spam. So they delete the comments themselves.

@Grimskul: Just how many personas does that guy have, sheesh.

I think at some point all these aliases and personas he's hiding behind will catch up to him as his mind shatters trying to remember who he is and what he's trying to scam next.
