The Story of the Greatest men in the Allience

Prolouge
On the Space Station of Saloonias, a 3 Man group of troopers is pinned down by a 48 Man militant sqaud armed with rifles and high powered Machineguns (Bullets) The rest of the Alliance on the station is dead. This is their escape.

The Story
Rob Roy, Jim Beam, and Jack Daniels were pinned down with only 5 Clips left in their Standered issue assult rifles. Jimstood and and fired an elite burst killing 3 Militants. The group ran cover to cover killing all militants in the path to the pods. They were about to get in when Jack remembered the data on this ship. He had to plant the Jaeger bombs or the whole station would be screwed. He made a break for the reaserch lab and planted the bombs, but the militants were to strong and blocked his exit to the Pods. He threw a Blue Moon Flash grenade stunning them and then firing upon them before getting in. The group was honored on return

no offense, but I almost gouged my eyes out man. this is a serious RP, you were only (ungrammatically) describing what happened in poor detail. I only hope that was a joke and not an actual submission...and 5 clips is more than some troops go into battle with. the modern loadout is four/six

Yes it was a joke, the names were specificly chosen (Lulz Jeager bombs)
Most troops go in with (My teacher told me) I believe 210-300 rounds ( 2 Side packs, (Optional)chest pack and one in the gun( Packs of three)

The air-rush lights blinked once and the doors opened. Terrence felt the whip of wind flick over him and he smiled coldly, fingering the trigger of his rifle. His finger twitched up to his body suit and he tapped the button strapped to his neck. Instantly a full face visor snapped up over his head and then closed over his skull, locking away his scarred visage. He waited calmly for a few seconds and then the shrill banshee whistle ripped through the cabin and he and half a dozen other humans sprinted at the disembarkation ramp and jumped 500 meters above the ground. He felt the wind buffet him instantly as he twisted slightly seeing his combat squad spread out into a “V” on either side of him. The group was buffeted by a hail of shrapnel as the anti air defenses of the Exolians attempted to shoot down the aircraft they had just disembarked from. The aircraft made it back into the stratosphere and the squad prepared for landfall. The 7 of them were the best low altitude drop mercenaries in this quadrant and he made a point of killing those who refused to join them after a personal invitation.

His mind was running through a bodily check as he watched the altimeter run down rapidly. Exactly 7 and a half seconds after the jump and at exactly 15 meters above the ground, his eyes flick closed and then open at a symbol in his HUD. The mask reads the optical input and he felt a pair of retro burners right him a split second before impact and he rolls behind some cover. The terrain wasn’t ideal but then again it never was. He felt the jarring impacts of heavy artillery thud all around him as the Exolians tested some kind of new weapon on his drop point. He cursed mildly as a round nearly knocked him sideways, landing almost too close for comfort. The moment they had touched down his hand had flicked through a series of motions and his squad squared away into deep cover, rounds snapping out in controlled bursts aiming at the foot soldiers ahead of them.

Terrence muttered into his visor interface mic’ and the words he spoke would have been chilling to any one outside of his close circle of colleagues, not through the words, but through the voice. The Low cold voice would send chills up anyone’s spine.
“I want a five meter spread from each of you. Nothing gets through. And I mean nothing. The Vernid want our help here and were going to give it to them. But those bugs aren’t getting any reason to say our job was foul.
Now Bring the Rain”

The squad chuckled mildly at Terrence’s mild disgust of non-human sentients. They knew his story, everyone in that sector did. It didn’t mean they wanted to cross the man though. He was a cruel killer and usually he could manage a kill in cold blood without even having to blink. They didn’t complain though, every one of them knew they were lucky to have the frostfinger guarding their six. The term referred not only to his cold personality and icy cold composure in a firefight but also from his origins. And beneath all of that was a subtle hint at the icy shiver one felt when he spoke, like someone running a frostbitten finger down the small of your back.

yeah. one clip holds some 30/40 rounds, and troops go in with some 4/66 clips. os makes for about 150 shots, and they rarely ever fire on auto, usually fire single shot instead.I forget exactly where, but there is a 'gun myths' page that is on newspaper page, (the article mentions Khorne BTW) that is pretty interesting.as well as fact that kevlar is not the same as a starship shield. the steel plate does most of the work. and penetrating rounds are bad against infantry.

the random npcs. Lets say captain shepard (yes think mass effect) was in our game and he was in a battle and was brutally killed wouldn't you be demoralized by such a feat that the enemy achieved.

Very good read. Although I may mention humbly that you shouldnt spam TOO many characters, go back to some now and flesh them out a bit more.

yeah. I try to write decently but I have some sort of issue that makes it slightly less natural to punctuate for me.


That and I'm just plain lazy.

Yeah, I plan on Callious and Arius being the guys in the spotlight for a few more chapters, then I might add a few random guys in (As in Arius is in fight and charges in one chapter then in the next you see what some random guy sees and describes the charge), but I plan on really getting into specificly Callious's past, but Arius might get a little more memorys of his dad and training.

I’m one of those pedantic people who writes stuff down by hand before putting it through the computer, I do that with all my big posts, which is why it takes a while to put them up. Because I Write them down and go of to a quite corner and read them out loud, easier to pick up spelling and punctuation that way, and if you enjoy writing the piece then its fun too.

Spamming characters is where you dont ever flesh a character out but just bring a new one in every time you have a "Chapter" break

it gets rather tedious to read if you arnt good at it but when its done well its scarily entrapping

Somewhere on E'nath

The Jungle is usualy quiet. Not right now. Gunshots and beams could be heard splitting the silence, screams following. Everything making noise. Exept a figure moving in a wide arc away from the fighting then back towards the main force. Moving quiet and swiftly, the E'nathi figure sees his target.
"Game time" M'kala says jumping over a sandbag barricade and pulling out his snap sabers, drawing the attention of an unluky merc.

A mining company wants to rip E'nath open to get at the artifacts inside. To the E'nathi, this is blasphomey. The mining company expected a little resistance,not a whole war tribe. The Red Moon Miners employed 25 Mercs to protect the mines, not fend off a group of charging monsters.

The E'nathi group was 30 men strong, hardly a war tribe. It consisted mostly of beserkers,but a few rifle men and swordsmen were in it too. The E'nathi were willing to die for these artifacts, and an unlucky few did.M'kala was not one of them...

M'kala's sabers ripped into the merc, tearing his arms off, and sending the man screaming. He ran deeper into the small base and then he saw his target. An officer was giving orders through a radio behind a barricade, firing occasionaly with a pistol. With a loud warcry M'kala charged forward, slamming into the man with the force of a frieght train. He stood up and took a few hits from a near by mercenary. With the officer unconscious M'kala decided he could come back to the man. He shrugged off the shots and sliced the man firing at him open at the hip, then below his ribcage, then M'kala went for a kill shot at the throat, the man was dead before he hit the ground.Walking Over to the officer, M'kala killed him, then moved on to clean up the rest.
