Not for Titans.

Honestly, absolutely yes to titans. They have entire missions and systems built around them in 30k. In 40k they are joke units, seemingly on purpose, and feel completely out of scale with the lack of gameplay (there's no simulated damage for example).

As for why they'd release them specifically for 30k, you could ask the same about Custodes. GW might have included mentions that they can be used to represent 40k units too, but the Custodes releases have been all under a 30k tagline lately.

That said, I don't think a Warhound is likely. People are doing "plastic thunderhawk!" pipe dreams.

This is the wrong time for a Warhound release - that model is going to be expensive if it were to ever appear and GW needs wallets full for that; doing it during a new edition when everyone is die hard focused on new models in the boxed set and expanding/starting armies - its just the wrong time

I bet you *checks pocket contents* 5 whole pence.

And that’s British pence. The best pence. Not to be confused any other pence.

Wondering if it might be the Porphyrion, releasing alongside a Knight-themed journal.

This is just a reveal though, not a preorder right.
There's no reason to believe whatever they reveal will be releasing soon. Times from reveal to shelves usually is multiple months and has even been over a year sometimes.

Not sure "huge reveal" automatically implies a physically huge model.

It's not necessarily so
But we're slap bang in the middle of the 3rd cycle, and another journal I wouldn't think would be a "huge" deal. Which makes "huge" in significance unlikely, hence I'm erring towards "huge" in physical size to be the most likely.

I vote for more 28mm resin titans and titan weapons. It's about damn time.

Err... why should they release a really huge plastic kit - larger than any other yet - that is obviously also for 40k specifically for HH?

Because they kinda did the same with the Cerastus Knights?

I'm going with a left-field pick, but one that would be a "big reveal" for one faction - a plastic multi-part Tech-Priest (or Tech-Magos?) kit for the Mechanicum, with all sorts of weird bits.

So far for this edition they've had releases for Marines, Solar, Mech and Custodes, but nothing on the Knight / Titan side. I'd be surprised if it's not at least a Knight.

Lowest effort possible would be a journal and a repackaged Dominus.

Much as I’d love a Mastodon, I do think they’re meaning huge volume, rather than huge size of reveal.

I hope BattleFleet Gothic during Horus Heresy. The recent trailer shows the Emperor (but I don't think He will ever be released) and huge ships jumping in the warp.

Please please no

let BFG at least be in the 40K era.

I don't want a 3 fleet game, which is what the 30k era would be. 1 Imperial; 1 Mechanicum; 1 Space Marines. Keeping in mind that for all the subfactions in those groups; the fleets would be the same models. Heck you don't even get the iconic gothic Imperial ships because those come later for the Imperium - everything would be a "chaos" oldstyle ship from 40K era.

That's not been the case for a long, long time. Heresy art for many years shows both hull types in service with the Imperium during the 30k era. And ships in between like the vengeance grand cruiser style.

It's never been a thing at all. According to the BFG rulebook, none of the wedge shaped classes with design dates listed in it existed yet during the Heresy apart from one battleship, while some armoured prow ships are pre-Crusade designs. It's a classic 40k trope - it's the new stuff that is more prone to corruption.

I think it could be anything suitably large really - A knight, one of those Dark Mech walkers, Warhound, Mastodon, Superheavy tank..

Just because its revealed today, doesnt mean it will be going on preorder anytime soon.

So they apparently ditched the Mk IV jumppacks for Mk VI ones. Good riddance, those were ugly as hell.

Seems GW finally got the message about not fething with how the established armour looks. Just too bad Mk's II and III had to suffer such indignities as they did. But I'm glad to see MkIV looks as it should for those who favour it.

Is it just me, or do the Assault MkIV look a but bulkier in the legs? I’m aware the other plaggy Assault Marines have some extra on the chest. But those legs definitely look a little more hefty to me.
