It'd fit right in with the Eldar range.

Rune Masquer, eh? I wasn't aware models of any sort existed of that.

Edit- Actually, didn't Yutaka Izubuchi design both that Rune Masquer centaur mech AND the Promaxis?

Give me a Klingon Box too and ST Attack Fleet would finally be an interesting game (at least from an aesthetic point of view)

Yes! Rune Masquer! I recall when they were coming out in the 90s, just gorgeous stuff. But way too spendy for me. I particularly liked Tristan:

I think Izubuchi did the RM, but I'm not familiar with the Promaxis.

Are those Star Trek models just a repackage of the existing (and recently updated) kits?

Looks like yes, aside from the NX-01, which has not had an official 1/2500 kit yet (nor an available garage kit for a while either).

I think I will have to buy this, since I already started a 1/2500 collection and got the two 1/2400 USS Enterprise carriers for the display too.

You're right!

And the 3 warp nacell version of the D from All Good Things.

Never mind then. Holding out for a complete set.

At least it doesn't have the Chubby-prize from the reboot movies.

I can't say I'm surprised at those being missing as they were only in a single episode each. Eh, no worries. I'd personally love a prototype Enterprise C though instead of the one we actually got in Yesterday's Enterprise (which btw I also like but the original concept IMO was markedly superior!). IIRC this is the one that was actually on the wall of Picard's briefing room (in a rough initial form of course).

Well, I'd say that pretty much confirms Izubuchi did the designs for Galient, or at least the OVA. The Tristan looks an awful lot like the OVA's redesign of the Wingal.

Speaking of Tristan, that just happens to be the name of a new Gundam. It's from something called Gundam: Twilight. I'm not sure if it's an anime, a manga, or a movie or what, but it looks set around the Neo Zeon period of the Universal Century.

If it isn't an anime, that kit is probably going to be all we see of this Gundam: Twilight.

Oh yeah, and there's this thing coming out soon.. You guys should all totally buy one.

The HGUC Barzam is due in May, MSRP is 1500 yen.

It also means that tease from Build Fighters will have become reality.

As long as I don't have to hear any fan theories about how the Probertprose was the real C and Yesterday's Enterprise is from an alternate history, sure. Let's go nuts.

I believe Izubuchi did all of the Rune Masquer designs, or at least most of them, and the models are all Work Shop Cast resin kits so very expensive and very rare, even for recasts.

I was gonna say... Considering what it costs to get a BB8 that can be controlled from your smartphone, $15,000 seemed a bit steep.

For $15,000 USD, I'd expect a Fuchikoma that a small child could ride in.

That's pretty sweet.. There's a video out there of a guy who made a remote controlled R3000 spider tank. I'm sure someone will get a hold of this and put in nerf or airsoft guns and other insanity. Nice find!

The Lancer kit looks an absolute dead ringer for a slightly modified Tau unit. No real surprise there, but a few Tau bits, change out the look of the cannons = done.

I always liked the Lancer. It's a shame it only showed up once, and was pretty much forgotten after that. Too bad that kit is ¥17,000. Way too expensive.

What scale is it going to be in, and where did you find him?

I saw that link about the smart phone controlled Tachikoma and bugged my GF for two days asking if I could get it.....she said no ofc... I have a 2k$ tax return coming and she still said no. She does know me way to well.... :(

Great you tube vid, there was a cool tachikoma at the Production IG store in "somemall" in japan somewhere....it looks like a neat store.

That would be perfectly for my Mech Attack 28mm games where most of the models are between 6 and 9 inches tall. Unforunatley at around 60 bucks USD, I'll pass. I've been wanting to add a battlemaster to my force for a while though. Maybe a more affordable model kit will come through at some point.

I wouldn't count on it, Eilif. Unless Bandai makes some Minipla kits like the Xabungle, Galient, or Ideon ones, the Max Factory series is probably as good as its going to get. Thankfully, beyond the first couple kits, Max Factory seem to have really hit their stride with their plastic kits and the quality has been very good. I expect they'll go down in price before too long, as well.

-DE-, thanks for providing the scale/size info. You beat me to it.
