I did a bit of gs gap filling and here's where he is so far. He has some cabling now from the vent to his belt and I added a temporary tabard for him. It'll be a lot nicer when done/redone, but I wanted to see what people thought on the general flow of it, mainly the basic idea of the fold on the right side.

I redid the tabard today. It's not perfect, but I think it'll do for now.



I also gap filled around his waist and added some cabling on the torso.

Only just seen this thread. I must say that the idea and the execution are just great. I love the paint scheme and also like the way the standard of painting has increased during the course of the thread. Hope to see more soon! By the way, is that really a marine helmet from AoBR?

@Bloodthirster: Almost right. No golden yellow highlight. It's Iyanden Darksun with bleached bone for the highlights.

The face is dark flesh with dwarf flesh added in layers, then some elf flesh is added in for the final couple highlights.

Also, I was thinking of making the units I have sternguard and the assault squad into vanguard then added some PH scouts to make a sort of 1st company.
