Don't worry, the new article promises to make ridiculous assertations against non- 40k gamers. It'll be like the old one but even more ignorant. In the meantime, would you like to go light some homeless on fire? I play this game, you see, and it makes me want to light heretics on fire.

Whatever you say, Rustyknight.
I think that mindless obedience when asked to kill things is the most important virtue. Hopefully this will benefit the military-industrial complex.

I haven't had a chance to read the latest website edition, and it isn't something I feel comfortable going to at work.
Has anyone except one poster actually tried to *talk* to her? Perhaps explaining to her why we would take offense to what many of us percieve a personal attack and a risk to our hobby would at least open conversation? By looking at her website, I realize that her beliefs seem to involve a world view that presupposes an ulterior motive in everything she writes about, so I don't know if conversation would be worthwhile or not.
Ultimately her writings don't bother me personally. As she wryly points out, I'm an "adult gaming fanatic" so I really have nothing to do with it from her point of view. I doubt she could gather enough interest to get any legal restrictions at all placed on a miniatures game, even if that is her intent, which I can't know because I can't read her original article. What I do worry about is that some mother will read it an instead of thinking about it and talking to their child about it, they'll just take it upon themselves to destroy their gaming stuff and traumatize another gamer.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the case, as GW is setting its profit margin to high. Now if they actually start "making" money, then Obama will be calling JJ.
Wait...are you telling me that the government has been buying companies that actually make money??? I missed this memo...

Seriously though I wouldnt think 40k is exactly G, PG, or PG-13 material. The best wargaming with minatures I had when I was a kid was to set up green plastic army men and shoot them with a BB gun; this was fun for about 5 minutes then mom would come out yell at us kids because the BBs are bouncing off the plastic tank into the windows on the house. So what was the next best thing. Getting a shovel full of a fire ant mound and running to another mound and dumping.(Talk about a fearless red army). That was the best what we had back in the day. Then Gee Dubyah had to come along and ruin all of our minds. I miss those good ole days.

What is not explained, is what is so good about having unwavering faith in the Emperor? Why would anyone want to do that? What's so hot about the Emperor that you'd give up your own one-time-only life, as a unique irreplaceable human being, and instead of exploring the world and enjoying life you shut off your brain and become the extension of somebody else's will.
Really, open your eyes people, dont blindly follow the emperor's mandates - Rebel against the oppression and rage against the Machine Spirit.
Consider giving up on this mind control, and enjoying the freedoms, liberty, and ability to choose that comes with dedicating your souls to the chaos gods.

In the USA, you need a license to vote, a license to drive, even a license to own a car. But there are ZERO qualifications to have children; the greatest responsibility a person can have. Go figure.
Please enjoy this rant with a sense of irony and a grain of salt.

I request an Orkmoticon of an ork wearing a tinfoil hat
That request is seconded, and its overflowing with Win.
You have no idea how often I would use that one!!! At the beginning and end of each sentence, before the start of a paragraph, on the sides as margins. I mean their is no end to the reasons why you should actually make this one. Full of win for diggity-damn sure
