Yeah, I change my support over to Man'oWar as well.
Heavy ion cannon version is definitely needed as well.
Also: If Imperials use void shields, Orks power fields, Eldar holo fields, perhaps Tau superheavies can use clouds of shield drones to be able to slug it out.

Why not? It's big, its covered in stingers, and moves at a relatively sedentary pace. Plus there's the whole "War" thing.
Nothing says "Hot Warzone" like the deployment of the SXV-141 Super-Heavy Assault Drone, Imperial designation: Man'o'War.
Also, I suggest checking out the Epic: Armageddon Tau army list to check out the names of various Tau super-heavy vehicles, and the armaments they have: Heavy Ion Cannons are one idea for an alternate armament, so would two big pods of marker-light activated support missiles.

I don't know, maybe it's the fact that english isn't my native tongue but Man'O'War just doesn't sound right- it sounds more like name of a crappy heavy metal band..  (sorry if I offended someone) Now if we start to look suitable metal band names for a Tau super-heavy walker I suggest Cryhavoc or Mastodon  Great model nonetheless!

This may have been answered earlier, and if so, sorry. Why a quadraped design? No other Tau walker has that shape. Were you worried GW may come after you if you used a bipedal design? Otherwise, it is a neat model.

hm, that may be answered by looking at all other scratch build Tau titans as they've all been quadruped designs as well

Panther doesn't fit, all Tau vehciles I have seen have a nautical theme to the name, Manta, Hammerhead, Devilfish. Whiteshark would be another good one, Megladon Maybe??Kalimari??
