Well I was going to suggest 'Mr Krabs' but that 'Zoidberg' one slaps my poor Spongebob related humour into the dirt.

Very nice model mind.

I'm seconding/thirding/fourthing Rock Lobster.

The issue I have with a lot of the other proposed names is that they are too fishy/fast, implying something that should be a skimmer or flyer rather than a walker.

Also, someone else brought up the good point that tau suits/walkers are usually named something along the lines of "Hazard" "Crisis" "Broadside" or "Stealth".

So I'm going to have to suggest:
"Siege"
"Havoc"
"Bulwark"
"Redoubt"

Going on that point, and looking at its head, surely it needs to be 'Shockwave'

How about "Megalodon"? It follows the tau naming convention, but also gets the idea across.

First off, that is a beautiful model.

That design doesn't really fit Kraken or Nautilus, imo.
Kraken I would think needs more legs/weapons. Perhaps a later version with multiple small railgun emplacements?
Nautilus is taken by Nemo's ship. You can't take that away from him with a giant death crab!
(Now, if you continued on to make some sort of giant submersible, reminiscent of a Manta but less winglike . . . that would be beautiful)

Behemoth sounds fine.
However, I would suggest either Charybis or Scylla, from the Odyssey. Both are fairly well known, and invoke the image of crab more than the other options, to me at least.

Edit: Also, rules wise, front armor 13 as well looks more reasonable to me . . . It does not seem any more heavily armored on the front

Another name: Killer Whale.
Or Catfish (walks on substitute limbs during dry times).
But then again, I like "lobster". Doesn't sound like crap
Commander Endova wrote:How about "Pisces"? Very much fish themed, and also mythological.

"Pisces" is Latin for "fishes". Yes, very much fish themed

And just a reminder: All the fish names are Imperial names for Tau vehicles, not Tau names. Tau originate from a desert planet!

"Tortuga" or just "Turtle"? Or if seacreature names start to sound boring how about "Centaur"? And yes, I know there's already an Imperial vehicle called Centaur but I think that this looks more like one..

but it is pretty much a battlesuit design, so personally i'd say something like shockwave would be acceptable or maybe even hammer

I like this one.

Man'o War also brings to mind the ocean going birds and the giant British warships, which would be perfect in keeping with a nautical theme.

Plus, it sounds badass.

I would stick with something Chinese to befit the Tau (Here comes the Japanese Tau players). Perhaps;

Zhayu V59 (Zhayu was in Chinese mythology as a great beast that devoured evil humans)
Dilong (Dragon that was bound to the earth and fought for good)
Kun (Mythical giant fish)
etc..

Kinda like the look of it, but if its a Battle Suit shouldn't the name stick with the current theme of Tau Suits? Crisis, Hazard, (insert name).
