I found that good support is a landraider. Give it warp stableization field and get a librarian with summoning, and it can show up next to your enemy faster then they would like.

DE come to mind...actually, I saw it done-happened to a friend of mine. He ran all termie paladins and was eaten alive by DE. He didn't have a snowball's chance in Hell.

You don't even need the poison, the Darklance is literally the perfect weapon against them.

Forget Deep Strike and Scouting them forward... Use Scout to Outflank them!

20 Paladins split into 4 combat squads with scout means you're delivering 15 paladins right into your opponent's ass. With Draigo's psychic communion ability, it's probably happening on turn 2.

I actually like outflanking 2x5 paladins and flying 5 in a stormraven with a librarian attached. Which reminds me, Warp Rift is awesome. Anyway, another good support model for paladins is the vindicare, who can pick off power-fists and meltaguns.

I use combat-squadded interceptors as a support unit for my paladin army, they tend to zip around and harass my enemy and buy my paladins an extra turn of movement; in multi objective game, draigo can make them a scoring unit, and in kill points they're an awesome mini-alpha strike.

Haven't we covered all this by now?

Another great support unit for paladins is Jack the housecat, I don't know his statline, but essentially, he's a really, comically fat calico that likes to jump up on the map and knock over plastic models while you're outside smoking. If you play the old metal terminator models for your paladins they're pretty safe, and it could lead to tabling your opponent.

Are you going to let him hang out on the table by himself so that he could do it?

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

I dont think he needs to be on the table, as I dont belive the grandmaster has to be.

Hell yeah I'll let him hang out on the table, out of range if possible, out of LOS if range is an issue, but most importantly, to draw my opponent into either A. making bad deployment choices to target him, or B. attached to someone he loves that he can spend some quality time with while he's back from the warp.

There's one interceptor in particular that Draigo really likes, but since the grey knights have a strict don't ask don't tell policy, I don't think it would be right for me to go into detail about their relationship.

He won't really be alone anyway. I don't like the whole 'keep everything in reserve' move. I like presenting targets to my opponents and usually only reserve everything if I'm in a really bad match up during an unfavorable deployment type, and I lose initiative. If I'm facing an alpha strike and my opponent is the first to act, and there's nowhere safe for me to deploy, then I'll consider it. Most of the time, Draigo isn't in any real danger until mid-game, and by then he's out there doing what he does best... karaoke.

No, they both have to be on the table.

Although some units give reserve bonus's just by being alive (even in reserve), both the grandmaster and draigo can only use their ability after passing a pyschic test.

You can't take a test if you aren't on the table and in play

If the rumors about wound allocation for 6th edition are true, I am sad for the future of Paladins.

A year out I'd put practically no faith in those rumors. They aren't even from the normal guys that hit a homerun on that site. They are from one of their random forum pots. I don't understand why people are even considering them. Now a early next year I'll start to look for stuff to pop up as they might be sending to the printers by then but before that it seems silly.

And Pallies Rock! (see, i'm on topic)

I was on topic was just voicing my concern. I'm not going to fret too much till the new book, but if something like that came down it would suck for Draigowing.

What exactly are these rumours and where can I find them?

I don't know how much trust I'd put in them at this stage though.

I know how much trust one should put in them: zero.
