Great, more survivors I need!

I kinda wish though one survivor was from the military, they always get the cool toys

It's basically like getting an 18 figure Limited Edition Expansion for $40. 9 addtional survivors (Nick, Cholo, Dave, Eagle, Eva, Martin, TCS, Ivy, and Claudia) and their 9 zombie counterparts

I think she is a military figure. Note the pants, boots, and dog tags. Her zombie counterpart has a pistol in hand. I want to say Army.

Yeah, I was expecting something really cool for $500,000 or above, not some additions to extras. (not really interested in getting either of them, too. Though I might have to get Marvin...)

And to make matters worse, we're not trending to hit that last goal!

Hoping someone near me gets this now... getting more interested the more I look at it!

I think it'll hit that last goal- there tends to be a spike the last day as people who have watched it get reminders that there's only a day left (I think). It certainly happened for Brushfire's.

It might be the adorable Cecile de France from High Tension aka Switchblade Romance:

Fun movie, just beware the Shamalayan twist that makes no sense in the last few minutes.

No idea who Ivy is.

"Well, isn't the enemy of your enemy, like, your friend? Or whatever? Can't they team up?"
"Not exactly. In this setting, the enemy of your enemy is still a floating, greasy, armored brain."
"Well, what about his enemy? Maybe you could be friends with him."
"No, because that guy is a mechanical horror in an undying battle shell. He sails from world to world in a flying tomb, serving gods who eat hope."

I don't think the last two survivors were so much movie inspired as they were just ideas they already had ready.

All the kicktracking software is really bad at predicting the mad rush of people jumping on in the last 48 hours, once they get their last call emails.

The last goal is 550k and we're already $525,376 with 37 hours to go.

Limited Edition. Single run of the figures for the Kickstarter. The left over figures will be available at Conventions, etc.. but will not be in stores or available for general sale.

I'm in for the game and all the extra minis. I've spent $300 on less than 20 models from GW, I have no problem spending $140 to get over 100 minis as well as an entire board game to play. I am as excited to play Zombicide as I am to use my new zombie horde in a army list I dreamed of since reading about Horus and that moon of Davin...

Okies those two female survivors have almost got me. Will be watching as it rolls into the final day, as they are looking to hit that $550K goal at some point today.

Angelina Jolie from Mr. & Mrs. Smith perhaps?

Currently $160 from the $550k goal, so that's pretty much a done deal. I wonder if they'll include more goals, even if they said the $550k was their last one.

I am a complete n00b at this... so let me get this straight.

I pledge $100, and I get a whole heap of stuff. I then add $40 for the extra four survivors... and then $20 for another set of tiles. Do I also add in shipping on top of that, or will they charge me after the fact (once it's all said and done)?

[EDIT]: Ok wait I found it. So... $185 will get me the Abomination pack, plus the four extra survivors (and their zombie dopplegangers), plus another set of tiles, plus shipping.

Right?

Have I mentioned how much I hate limited edition miniatures? Especially limited edition miniatures that are only available on a single weekend? I'd love to get my hands on Claudia, but when they don't accept Paypal and won't sell me the model any time after Sunday, that's apparently not an option.

Could be worse. They could come with the game, inside the box, but the box is locked, and you have to buy a key from them to unlock the box.

It's done through Amazon. You can pay through Amazon with paypal I think? Not 100% sure about this.

The Kickstarter FAQ has an entry starting "Why can't I use Paypal?" which suggests not.

No, Amazon doesn't do Paypal sadly, so you have to use a credit card.

Zombicide at $566K and 27 hours to go, Ogre at $547K with 6 days to go!

Ogre will probably end higher, but the Zombicide guys have got to be excited.

They really should add a $600K goal...

I recently sent a USPS Medium Flat Rate box to Australia for a buddy. It cost me $50 USD to do so. I doubt free overseas shipping is gonna happen... If they are shipping it now for $25 they are already subsidizing half the cost (at least) in some cases.

Yeah I don't think free shipping will go ahead to be honest.

I would like some additional sculpts, but I don't know if there is much chance of that happening. I am glad with what I have got thus far I have to be honest.

I've done this, too- however, the flat rate box ends up being about double what it would cost to send a non-flat rate box of about the same size and normal weight. (i.e., $25-ish...)

Moral of the story- do not ship internationally using Flat Rate boxes, unless you are really, Really in need of being absolutely sure about it. I don't really know if it even gets handled differently... I'd assume yes, but it's not $25 different!
