There will be a Clone Commander wielding a pistol. He will be leading the ARC troopers.
Only problem is.. He is a count- as Coteaz. So I have to make him as a believable Badass with somekind of CC weapon. hmmmm.

The logical clone commander w/ CCW would be a Jedi with armour.
They did use pistols on the Clone Wars aswell didn't they?

Not much of an update, but I got my Clear plastics!

Develain: Another great update, I have to show my sons this thread everytime they come to stay now.

Ovion: Unfortunately the only bits we trade at moment are indeed what come out of the new boxsets. We will be offering up a service soon to allow folk to trade unused, unpainted, undamaged bits in for a discount for other bits. So we will see what we bring in.

Now keep OT and just head over to our thread and ask us questions there HA! Will be a faster response back to you then instead of a once every few day check on blogs that I do now...

Dev: Think I will have to make a start on one clone to keep my 9yr old son happy tonight. :S

Been watching this thread for awhile and all I have to say is, great work! ... And as for a Coteaz stand in, try looking up Alpha-17. He was one of the original ARCs and well short story short was a tough fething clone.

Cannot wait to see the finished army.

Slowly making progress on the gunships:



Used several small plasticcard strips to close the round edges. Not really smooth finish yet, but will use plasto putty over it and then file it smooth once applied.

And just closed the bottom with a fitting piece of square plasticcard.

Tomorrow I'll add plasticcard to the sides and close the whole 'skeleton'.

Your army just looks fantastic. Both the sculpting and paint jobs are very clean and cartoony. Well done.

Thanks for the update Develain, cool to see those gunship moving along at a good pace at this rate you'll have us all in such suspense with everything your making that you'll have to start a Venator-class Star Destroyer but really though good work and keep it up!! Thanks.

Damn, has it really been a decade since I was full-on obsessed with Star Wars?

I don't even care; this is too awesome. The gunship is too cool, and the basic troopers are expertly converted. The paint job is great, but the conversions really make this army unforgettable.

Keep up the good work and I will continue to follow this conversion log.

i cant take the antisipation any more!!!
