In my last game against Space Marines, I made a lot of mistakes and stupid decisions that ultimately would have cost me the game... if every single time my opponent had killed one of my tanks, it hadn't exploded and killed half of the squad that attacked it.

In the end, two Immolators, two Repressors and an Exorcist exploding accounted for something like three terminators, fifteen Tactical marines and ten Assault Marines.

Their combined kill count through actual weapons fire? Two tactical marines and a Predator Annihilator.

Measuring in centimeters instead of inches most of the game.

So, one of my first games in Sixth. I am facing deamons with my Orks. turn 2 my opponent scores 4 points with a single wound.

Mission was Purge the alien, and the deamon player rolled a 4 on the personal chart for Fateweaver's WL characteristic. so he challenged my Warboss on bike after assaulting the biker squad along with a few other deamons. i fail 1 save, and dont make the FnP. I than fail the test to resist the bird's book.

In my last game, my friend turned the light off on my mum in the shower room, that was funny.

(6th Edition)
My big blob of 20 Necron Warriors (with a kitted-out Lord) charge into 9 Nobs with a Warboss (just because I was feeling ballsy). The Orks snapshot. Nothing happens. Warriors successfully get into combat. Lord Mindshackle Scarabs the Warboss. On 3D6, it fails by 1. It proceeds to hit itself in the face with a power klaw 3 times. 3 6's to hit. 3 5's to wound. 1 dead Warboss. The Nobz, now supremely butthurt at the loss of the Warboss, get something like 40 attacks. 2 Necrons go down. Warriors attack back, inflicting 12, TWELVE, unsaved wounds. The Orks run away. And get ran down. Oh, and those 2 Necrons that went down? Yeah, they both got back up.

On the last turn I'm holding an objective with my Tac Marines with a 1 point lead. A group of six Tau come and charged me. They do no wounds I cause 5 and his last model rolls insane heroism on the morale check. I tied.

Well the Funniest moment for my friend was in the 6th turn of combat. All that remained (After a few manticore strikes and consentrated fire from my Predator) was a single guardsmen and my EC.

This was a while back, but it was an average game amongst friends in Jville. Someone was running two land raiders, as I rolled my dice, I rolled them toward the land raiders 3 dice roll in between, bouncing back and forth multiple times, make quite some noise. When we paused to see what numbers appeared, we all stared in amazement as we saw a stack of three dice, the middle dice landed on top of the bottom one (which rolled a six) the middle die came up as a one, and the top dice had landed on the middle one, with the corner down perfectly balanced on the one. My opponents didn't make me re-roll of anything, they considered that a sign, and removed said unit of tactical marines from the table as casualties. My "witch cursed" dice became infamous for a while.

When 6th was first released I had a 500 point objective game against a friend's Tau where-in my Tervigon managed to spawn 50 Termagants over the course of 4 game turns and didn't "break" until turn 7 (first two rolls were 15, then an 11, and then a 9 consisting of three 3's). I was litterally pulling gaunts from my casualty heap and putting them back on the table right back where they had been prior to being shot off the board!

More recently, I had a match against this same friend while he was testing out Chaos Daemons and one of his Tzeentch princes simply must have done something to offend their patron deity. On the first turn they were hit and wounded by a Rupture Cannon after everything else in range had given its best try and then failed their grounding check (suffered no damage from the crash). On the second turn the Prince charged a unit of 2 Hive Guard hiding in cover and looses another wound to Overwatch and then takes an additional wound from the Hive Guard unit itself in melee. It deals 1 wound back (killing one of the two who had already taken a wound) and draws the combat. Next turn my Hive Tyrant joines the fight and the Prince ends up being bested by the remaining Hive Guard before he or the Tyrant can strike.

It wasn't just against me either, in a second game this same Daemon Prince managed to get himself tied up by an Eldar War Walker unit until turn 5 by simply being unable to land any blows (comically, when he finally did kill the last walker the Daemon Prince model had to be returned to its owner and the other Eldar lent him one of the War Walkers to use for the last few turns).

Oh, just thought of one. It's not mine, but I was there when it happened.

It was a game of Necromunda, and a Juve charged a Ganger. The two fought, hit each other a few times but nothing serious. Then, the Juve ended up sticking the Ganger with his knife and the Ganger dropped. Next turn, the Ganger's gang had to roll for bottling, and they ended up saying "Screw that!" and booked it. Then, on the serious injuries chart, the Ganger rolled the one that made him have to roll D3 more times. All three of them ended up being chest wounds (-1T), and he had already been weakened by earlier fighing.
The Ganger died from having a Toughness of 0.
The Juve had EATEN HIS HEART.

Also, there was a game where one of my friends was using Epidemius with his Nurgle CSM army. That's pretty badass, right? All those bonuses, you know?
Well, unforunately Epidemius can only do anything when he's actually on the table.
It was just Epidemius and a group of Plaguebearers. He failed the roll for the Daemonic assault, so the Plaguebearers came through turn one instead of Epidemius. Next turn, he failed the reserve rolls. Turn three, he passed, but Epidiumius ended up having a deep strike mishap and returned tor reserves.
By the time Epidemius finally got to enter the game, most of the board had blown each other apart. So yay, 3+ FNP on the two and a half units that survived!

A squad of 30 hormagants munch through a squad of boyz then through a squad of nobs with a warboss

A squad of five Assault Marines - Basic Assault marines, going at em with jump packs and chainswords - wanted to clear my Infantry Squad of guardsmen off of an objective in the most reliable way to do so...Assault.

They are four inches away, so they easily make their charge distance...I get overwatch, and somehow kill two of them with a basic flamer.....They get their hammer of wrath attacks...and I make my armor saves...all of them...then they make their usual attacks.....and none of them score any wounds....and then the guardsmen, using bayonets, massacre the guys with power armor.

My opponent and I were both stunned....he then says deadpan "holy s**t, you just killed assault marines in close combat...with guard!" which causes the entire room to look up at us (one guy almost spit out his soda)

I have a sergeant named Komsvena Molotov (komsvena is the soviet equivalent of sergeant prior to 1943) that has singlehandedly killed 5 tactial marines over the course of three games...all of them in close combat

I got a really bad headache in the middle of a game two days ago in my friends house which caused me to get very assaulty. As Necrons. Then I put my face in a plastic cauldron full of candy and ran around the street with them chasing me

This was a recent one. We were playing the relic, insanely close as no one could reach the relic at this point (my cultists ran of with it and then died in the middle of no where). He has one scoring model left, a dire avenger exarch. I have no scoring units left. His exarch makes a mad dash for the relic, I have to stop him. I have a lone chaos chosen with a power sword 18" away, to top it off he is on the top of a tower. The chosen leaps down, lives, roll 6 for difficult terrain. He throws a grenade, hits and wounds, exarch saves. I charge, rolls 12". Exarch bladestorms on the overwatch, 3 hits and 3 wounds, followed by 3 power armor saves. Exarch strikes first, he hits and wounds twice. I save both, swing once with my power sword and the exarch dies.

Final score - Chosen lives through 6 possible deaths, Exarch takes a grenade to the face and lives

Most epic fight yet

My two best moments have been against Necrons. Once in 5th my opponent had mishapped his Monolith on a beat up Monolith (someone had lit it on fire at some point) terrain piece; he rolled and the monolith got destroyed.

The next one was when the same player had put his Deathmarks in via Monolith just to be safe. He then fired the Crystal and it scatters right on to the Deathmarks and even hit his Monolith.

One other moment that I enjoyed was shooting a Daemon Prince down during Overwatch with my Eldar War Walkers. Those Scatter Lasers will get you every time.

6 plasma shots - 5 hits(2 precisive) - 5 ones. I was sure that the dice gods hated me.
Then I charged him, wounding with all of my Hammer of wrath hits and he failed 5 saves. He was like "Damn you Tzeentch! I thought you're on my side!"

In a small game with my CSM over the weekend, and decided to swap out my Sorcerer's Spell Familiar for Aura of Dark Glory to give him a bit more survivability.
I then proceed to roll two double-6 perils in succession, in the same turn..
He has the Familiar back now.

I had a ten man tac squad get charged by a 12 man bezerker squad, 2 died in snapshot phase, and I lost 4 tac marines in his combat turn. I then got 4 wounds on him, which saved my squad from getting routed off the board(I was basically 4 inches from the edge). 2 turns later, I had 1 tac marine left, but the bezerker squad was dead, killed to a man.

A Necron Wraith squad (with Dlord, but thats another issue) assualts my stealth teams with its drones. (3 suits, 6 drones) my fault for bad placing, as I forgot wraiths can go through walls unhindered.
First wraith dies to overwatch.

team continues to get massacured, but was totally worth that moment.

So Huron Blackheart and 20 Khorne CSM multiassult my CCS and the last straggler of a PIS.

Huron challenges, Creed flips him the bird and declines. The big man proceeds to kill the last Veteran from a PIS. The marines funnel their attacks into the CCS, and when all is said and done, and the carapace armor saves have been taken and the FnP rolls have been made, I've taken no casualties. Then the medic, lascannon team, and a random jerk with a sniper rifle lay into the CSM.

They manage to hit with all 4 attacks, wound with 3 of them, kill 2 CSM, and win the combat. Sadly, Huron still makes them Fearless, so my 195 points CCS didn't get to run down like 600 points of CSM, and his staying in combat meant I didn't get to fire 2 Medusas, 2 Russes and a Vendetta into the pile.

My friend's squad of about 8 tau fire warriors decimated first a squad of 10 ork boys, then a squad of 5 ork nobs, plus boss snickrot - in close combat

I played a game as CSM with Tsons and Ahriman, against grey knights one game. somehow Im clearing the table, So Ahriman and his cadre of obliterators swaggers up to 6 tac marines kills 4 shooting charges kills one more and the seargent runs. Next turn as he will clearly feel no fear he charges for veangence. He kills one oblierator in shooting and challenges ahriman, I fail my saves, die to FW the two oblits fail leadership and get cut down. I hung my head and told him he had gotten slay the warlord.

I had a fantasy game about 5 days ago, Ogres v Ogres. first turn my opponent moves up his leadbelchers and fire at my bulls. First he rolls six sixes and one five getting 41 shots, we started joking about him having good luck this game (if only we knew) my bulls fail leadership and run causing a panic test on my ironblaster.... who runs off the table. first turn and I didnt even get to fire a shot

I was playing a game against the FLGS douche, and he's down to his last unit, a Leman Russ Demolisher. My Deathwing is destroying him, and I have a single model with an assault cannon left. He decides to shoot him, and instead of shooting 2 plasma cannons and a las cannon, he wants to go for the overkill and shoot the demolisher cannon. He scatters back into himself, gets a penetrating hit... With an explode result... He was PISSED

Was moving one of my raiders into ruins, promptly taking my dangerous terrain test. Roll a 1, take my Flickerfield, failed. Next flying stand breaks off. Appropriate it seemed.
