Congrats, Warsmith! Nearly 150% funded
Panic- I'll be going City 1-4, Battlefield 1 & 2 on back I believe. Although the corridors are tempting! If Fantasy Dungeon is offered on the back of the other 2 I might switch to:
City 1 - Corridors 2
City 2 - Fantasy Dungeon 1
City 3 - Corridors 1
City 4 - Fantasy Dungeon 2
Just need confirmation on what the options are for the dungeon

See I want to have an alternate city tile over that one that's mostly road, because that's a big span of "no terrain" that could prove unbalancing in missions. So I'd have that, and then the other side a more built up area.
And then one of each corridor... and that's it.
But 6x4 of corridors does sound nice. Then again, I own one 1st Ed Space Hulk, one 1st Ed Deathwing, two 1st Ed Genestealer, one 2nd Ed Space Hulk, nearly two 3rd Ed Space Hulks and two sets of the DOOM boardgame tiles, so maybe I don't need a 6x4 tile table.

city three is the 'open' one that's kinda a roundabout, I think If it's too open a statue, baracades or crater won't look out of place.
There is a option for city1 / city 3.
So if you get that as your city 3 tile you can flip to another city 1

Edit: fixed the numbers!

yeah,
I think the black boarder and most of the grey blocks might be there to provide tolerance for slightly offset cuts during manufacture??
I have a feeling (and a hope) that the 'cut' will be very close to incomplete squares under the gray slabs.
So that we end up with boards that line up something like this.
(please excuse the misalligned boards, I'm making these mock ups on my iPhone)

2
I don't know if this is the case though?

Usually when you print stuff you have a 1/8" "bleed" around the edges, so that's probably what the black border is for

yeah,
If that's the case I think these should be scaled up till we have the gray blocks being sliced by the 'bleed' 1/8''!

Hey guys, good to see some more interest her on Dakka. I feel like i haven't been paying as much attention to the thread as I should have.
The published designs do need include the bleed, so there won't be any black edging in the way. The cut/bleed will sit about half way through the connecting blocks (the bit closest the the corridor edges).
I will be posting an update on the KS thread soon, as I have now completed the battlefield designs. So keep an eye out!

Yeah,
I got my first game in on my WarBoard!
Pretty damn cool.
Dice kinda roll hard/flat.
The folds are pretty obvious and the sections don't line up perfectly.
But on the urban board these minor issues don't seem as evident.
The Big plus point is this surface Folds away to about the size of 4 BRBs.

Nice! And yeah, I had the same thoughts with mine about the fold points, and the hardness. But the urban design is so beautiful, and they store so compactly, that these will still get some use. I think it's not as good for the battlefield side, though.

yeah,
I agree, I have dungeon and space hulk on the back, they look ok but the urban side is best.
I think it's because the design isn't really hindered by the section lines.
The battle report is up, Loads of action shots of the Warboard in play.
