I have so loved her books. Even the film of Interview with the Vampire, still stands up pretty well.
Very sad news.
I like to think that Louis, or Lestat maybe, came in at the end there to give her the gift, before spiriting her away.

The guy who designed alot of the toys for both classic He Man and TMNT passed away. :( His work literally bookended my childhood fandoms/toy collections.
