I hope he'd like the picture of him I chose.

Yeah, i heard he got death threats from racist extremists for LALD as he played a black man implying he was planning to have sex with a white woman at some time.

Obviously none of the bedhseet brigade had the testicular fortitude to try making good on their threats...

This man wasn't a celebrity. he was never in a tv show or movie, never had a hit song or anything like that.

He was a 51 year old father of 7 children who died rushing into a supermarket where a mass shooting was underway trying to save the lives total strangers.

I think that deserves some remembrance.

Yeah, same. I mean, they could perhaps make that into part of the story, but it wouldn't be the same. And besides, I think it ended at the right point, with the boys having to grow up...

Yeah, used to love FND but the last series was...just awful.

Loved Ritter's performance in Chernobyl however, such a different character from FND.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Roughly the same here. I think the BBC has summed it up well with "He outlived nearly everyone who knew him and might explain him".

Prince Phil was the rogue in the establishment.
He was always in the news for 'gaffes' when speaking to people.
He supposedly did the family bits for the Royal Family, bringing up the Queen's children, etc. This left the Queen to get on with reigning.
