Nice work love the battle worn industrial look and the minis are sweet kind of reminded me of charlies angels from back in the day. Don't now if that's just me or if there meant too, either way very stylish.

Guys ar elooking good, the pistol as well. The grip might be a bit thick though, try scrounging a few pistol grips from an IG player near you. Trust me, he'll have plenty

I concur, you could easily pilfer the entire hand/grip area. I do want to give some props on the first attempt of a rounded grip. That's thinkin outside the box!

Just looking at your Mauser-Pattern Laspistol screams star wars, IMO I would cut the bottom of the handle notch of round of the second section and at the back just slice and sand so there is more of grip to the handle then it will be spot on.

I have no plans on the Mauser, It is just for fun, testing a new design. Yes, it looks like Star Wars for a reason, because Lucas based Han Solo's blaster off of a Mauser in the first place

funny that you should actually make a mauser after i just saw specially that pic of yours you posted off of another blog...lol...

and who in his right nerdy mind didn“t knew that han“s blasdter was based on the broomhandle???

your version is instantly recognizable, but i have to fall in with the others, while the look of the handle is as classy as one might get... but i think with this handle you are more in sclae with a ogryn commissar^^ than yon typical IG footslogger sarge^^

to get the rihjt feel to the minibit i think a SM handle wourl be apropriate too... tho we do have to admit...that is a bit cheating, eh? grey is grey and wont get white^^, had that argument with myself earlier today too and i decided all white^^

Yeah yeah, it was just a prototype/idea. I want to lengthen the barrel and work the iron sights out better still, and make the body even more recognizable. Keep an eye out for The MK2 Mauser-Pattern Laspistol tonight.

There is no rule that says you can't use bitz too, to mount the pistol in a hand, you almost have to, unless you are good at making GS fingers and hands.

LOL

Maybe with the next few projects I have going on I'll get that down to an art. Maybe I could have Wehrkind make some casts of just the hands? Or I could just make hands gripping plain handles too! Brilliant!

Yes yes I know it was based on the Mauser who doesn't and if I am not mistaken several others are based on ww2 weapons like the E-11 blaster carbine based on Sterling submachine gun the DLT-19 based MG-34 and so on the list is endless.

Now back to topic I dont even get around to finishing the work I want to do never mind just doing test designing bloody hell how much spare time do you have you lucky git .

Do we get the group shot of the gangers together then,

HAHA, Awesome Stuff!

I present to you, the Mk 2.

I had to go back to work today, but I was researching Mausers all day, and cranked this out once I got home.

I need help please
Hammer too big? need shortened?
should I attempt to add iron sights or leave as is?
Should I add buttons/lascharge readout?

You know me, the more details the better. So go for it, readout, iron sights, slightly smaller hammer, all the works.
By the way you owe me 150$, buddy! Well, in a way at least, it's your fault I spent that much money on tools after all. Why am I so weak?

I think you've lost a little bit of the mauser feel with this last prototype. I think it's the proportions of the magazine and the back of the pistol. Lose 25% of your magazine width and a hair off the back.
