Been a while since I had anything to post. Put this up on YouTube a while ago and I thought it might have broad enough appeal to be worth posting here. It's a little pinning video for pinning really small, PITA bits. Hope you like it!

I have seen you demonstrate that pinning technique early in your blog, but it is still one of the best modelling tips that I have picked up in my entire hobby career.

This will probably be one of the best looking tournaments going on at Adepticon. Between Gitz’s beautiful terrain and painted armies should have a lot folks stopping by for a look.

I just got to watch this - and wow, you are quite the master modeler, Gits! That group shot at the end just looks absolutely perfect.
Also, happy new year and all the best for your event at AdeptiCon, that is really exciting!!

I haven't been completely idle. Got a giant bat painted up for my Bushido Savage Wave war band and began the long process of working on the Adepticon boards and objectives. These are just phone pics, I don't actually have functioning image editing software at the moment so it's the best I can do.
Gaint Bat:
Winter table 30mm and 50mm objectives. The smaller objectives actually have a facing (the direction the bird is facing):

The army- ~2295 points (built).

I just thought I'd post this in case there were some among you who aren't familiar with these. This is my latest supply dump. These are illustration pens by Pigma under the designation "Micron". They come in a variety of colors and two main tip types... a normal pen tip (which comes in a variety of sizes) and little brush tip. They're fantastic for doing detail work on models... designs, calligraphy, etc. Pretty cheap too at something between $2-$3 per pen... cheaper if you get them in a pack. I think this batch cost me $23.
You can find them in any art supply store, I've even found them in better hobby stores. If you're in the US, I use Dick Blick out of Chicago (recommended to me by a friend of mine who is a professional artist).
Boy were they a major boon when I first found them!

I have heard of these before, I managed to get hold of one years ago, but I think it had been sat on the shelf forever in the shop. I used it recently as a 1mm scribing tool for panel lines in epvc. Ink was gone a long time ago.
Does it matter that they are Archival ink? I mean, are there different ones, and is that in some way important.
Love the bat btw.
