OH GOD MY EARS!! It was like Chaos itself was whispering to me.....

Why is there an icon of Slaanesh on my wall now? ...Why are they oozing pus? Dear, Emperor what have you DONE!?

But yes, awesome Robot Unicorn. Which Codex were you using for your Angry Marines again? If it's Space Wolves I would totally play the Unicorn as a Fenrisian Wolf.

I was using the Space Wolves Codex, and I still use it for kill teams, but I now use the Blood Angels codex, since that is a better representation of the Angry Marines (I mean come on, Death Company. and the fact that most squads have a chance to go into a state of blind rage [the red thirst]).

besides, there is already rules I can use, but I just need to tweak those so you can actually defeat it in a game.

Ahhhh, alright then. That does work out quite well, especially with the Angry Marines' fluff.

And...oh my, I just read the rules for rending pony. And yeah....but given the sheer level of awesomeness present in the Robot Unicorn, I would call it far and balanced as is.

-"Rending Pony may re-roll any to-wound rolls that are not 6 until they are 6"
, which means auto rend, all the time. I'd make it one re-roll, and the second result stays even if it is worse.
-"...Rending Pony may re-roll any failed save attempts", which to me reads as "re-roll until you pass." I'd make the wording clearer, or replace it with a "feel-no-pain" rule.

besides, the rending pony is a near-invincible killing machine, where the robot unicorn dies from simply crashing into a wall or forgetting to PRESS X TO DASH! I'd still like to play-test the unicorn to see if I need to tweak anything else for balancing's sake.

That kinda reminds me of the time my local GW ran a game which featured a reincarnated version of Horus (don't ask). He also kinda was a near invincible killing machine, and they kinda (ish) balanced by having him lose a point of toughness each turn he was on the table, hence he got easier to kill as time got on. Of course, I don't think he started off at T10....but maybe that could help with making rending pony a bit more balanced?

I'm almost tempted to say put in a rule where if Rending Pony does not kill a vehicle in assault then, it suffers ID because it forgot to press x to dash, and thus crashed and died. Tempted, but not gonna because that would be a very very silly type of thing to put in....

In a Toyota, plotting revenge.

I've come up with some more posiible dread names: Dan the Douche, Brian the Bastard, Peter the pissed, Harry the horrible. (did I get that from somewhere?)
BTW, I love the unicorn. A suggestion though, have you ever considered taking a hobby nife and actually engrave in some armour plates?

Was just thinking that the belligerent engine needs an addition or two:
Spoiler:

Kinda always made sense as a logical conversion for the Angry Marines if you ask me... not sure how it'd work out as I can't convert for the life of me but you might be able to pull this off.... just some thoughts

Hahahaha, the thing that immediately spring to mind for me are chaplain's braziers. Do those come as accessories on any sprues?

I wouldn't know if they do

If you do I'd love to see what you do with the idea

Also what about adding a squad of Sisters of Battle into the army? There's a certain picture I'm sure you've come across of some ladies with attitude and thought they'd be a perfect fit in any Angry Marine army.

yeah I've seen it, I assume you mean this image:

In response, I don't think so, since this is an Angry Marine's army, not a sisters of anger army. (and I don't think this image or concept is very good, and neither do the folks at 1d4Chan [once again, NSFW] ) Not to mention that it's not as funny when you throw in Rule 63 into the mix. So no, you won't see any Sisters of Anger from me, I'm keeping this a MAN'S CLUB, the way it was meant to be!

Hey folks, sorry about the hiatus. I was a bit busy finishing college and finding a job. BUT now that is done I am back at work on this project!
And as an apology for being away for so long, here's a predator I finished over memorial weekend:

^to see this image uncensored, go to my Flickr page here.^

Up next I am finishing up my Assault Terminator squad, and then I will be working on the big dude himself, Temperus Maximus.

And as a last note, this thread may go dormant for big periods, but it will NEVER be dead! I will see this project to completion!

Yep,. all of them are dead.

I did go to your flickr though. Nice Predator. Would you be building a Predator Angrinator at any point?

well shucks, don't know why that is acting up now, since that is how I have posted the other images. I'll have to fix those links soon.

But yeah, I would love to make a predator Angrinator! I am holding off on that until I finish off my terminators and new drop pods, and after I acquire a Stormraven.

I am also playing with the idea of eventually trading out this predator with a vindicator, modeled after the fabled Killdozer:

complete with rubble an' whatnot. But, you know, with the addition of a Demolisher cannon.
