Rage only means you have to move, run, and consolidate towards the nearest enemy. You don't have to charge if you don't want to, and you can charge whatever you want, not just the closest enemy unit.

hate? Tervigons. I've seen two of them go for entire games without blowing out their ovaries, giving my opponent close to 400-500 extra points worth of gants and keeping me from getting to the important stuff. HATE THEM SO SO SO MUCH.

I hate everything my brother fields on the battlefield. Be they Tactical Marines, Fire Warriors or Imperial Guardsmen, I hate them all equally when my brother picks up their codex and asks for a game.

Although, no matter whom I face, I personally hate PRELIMINARY BOMBARDMENTS.

I saw a game where about 50 gaunts spawned out of a tervigon...and all got sweeped by TWO tactical marines, which then got killed by 3 gaunts that spawned later.

In a game i had recently (it was an apocalypse game) i won combat by 82 with one unit of death company and death company Tycho.
take that Mr. Green Tide and your brother Green Tide jr.

Units I hate: Land Raider Redeemers, Mawlocs, Monoliths, Ethereals

Hate: The humble Chimera. So much firepower, so little points. Shame that come April I'm going to be a massive hypocrite by using them

Love: Pink Horrors. I know a lot people put no stock in them at all, but they've won a game for me more than once. 30 S4 shots from a 10 man unit? Oh yes.

Chaos Termies in my mono-Nurgle army.

Maybe it's just my dice, but they cost way more than my plague marines kitted out, couldn't hit a broad side of a barn, and really have only ever been good for tying up things in assault.

That IG chimera variant with the 2+ poisoned flamer weapon thing, especially the way the rules allow you to position the template (you know, as long as the big end is further away than the little end you can orient it any way you like)!

Only the Hellhound flamer does that, the Banewolf's weapon if placed like any other template weapon.

Space Wolves in general. I would refuse to play against a WAAC space wolf list in a friendly game all together. Their concept and their execution is something I will always hate, along with their rules.

I hate Trygons and Mawlocs, I hate mephiston, I WOULD hate monoliths, but at the current time, they are easily bypassable, and slow.

I am scared of TH/SS and a bit ancy around shock attack guns, wraithlords 2 wounds let them down enough for them not to worry me, and I eat land raiders for breakfast, so I am fearless, apart from all of the above

People in my local group hate my harlequins, fire dragons and my wraithlord(s) if im using them.
Often targetting them to the detriment of their game.

Personally i hate pain boyz in nob units, but thats nothing a little mind war doesn't fix. But then again i also hate taking mind war and generally getting my farseer out of his vehicle.

I have expanded on the original concept, now tell of the units you love as well as the ones you hate

I love my vindi and vulkan!

I hate guardsmen squads who position themselves so that everyone gets a cover save.

I love Dark Reapers, because they have AP3.

I hate guard blobs in all their forms.

I love my destroyers, though everyone else seems to hate them

I love the humble hydra is squads of two. Move one, smoke, fire other. Move other, smoke, fire one. Or just sit them still and blast the living crap out of monstrous creatures.

I hate Sternguard vets. They get to choose what they're going to throw at you, and most of them run with plasma cannons. I can't even count how many guardsmen I've lost to them.

If one vehicle in a squadron moves the whole squadron is considered to be moving. The shooter hydra in this scenario only gets two shots.

Anyway, hate: Monoliths. Against my army they're far less threatening than Land Raiders, but they were big when I got started and they're still on my list of units that my army has to be able to deal with.

Love: Basilisks. They're just so cool even if they are pretty hit or miss in actual play.

Love: Arjac Rockfist

Hate: Mephiston and everything that is IG.

@Deuce11 I don't think mephiston is that bad especially when my wolf lord gets to him *munch*

I hate myself whenever I field them, I'll win guaranteed, but my opponent will win the moral victory. It's unsportsman-like to field 100 of the useless bastards, they just slow the game down and make your opponent hate you.

I love my Death Company....but at the sametime they nothing more then marines on crack. Always chasing everthing they see.
