Thanks meer cat I'll have to look that movie up, don't think I've ever seen it.
Thanks Josh, cheers Amblard and Solarnopsis - I have a an old marine fighter i've been meaning to convert into a dakkajet for a while now, maybe if I take the blood axes to an event next.......

I've been painting lots but not uploading much, so there might be a bit of a backlog coming, but for now I want to share what's on my desk that's really inspiring me.

A few weeks ago I found out that I live in the same neighboorhood as Adrian Wood, of White Dwarf fame. He's into all the old editions and I was able to get him down the club for his first game of Man O War. In return he re-introduced to Space Hulk, and now he's got me excited about Epic!

Here's a Capital Crusher from Troublemaker Games that I converted to look more like the GW Great Gargant Model, since it's roughly the same size (I think!). I didn't know how useful my bits box would be for this scale but for titanic models I think 40K bits work ok, and there's stuff from a few different kits here.

Here's the model as standard: https://www.troublemakergames.co.uk/product-page/2x-capital-crusher-set
I used his original arm held gun mounts as big stompy boots, and two of his toes for shoulders, trimmed down his pipe stack and put his head up top.

Couldn't resist nipple cannons (it's fun to say in-game!) instead of turret mounted battle cannons, and firing arcs be damned! I just hope twin gatling cannons are a legal load-out....

That's my 500th image uploaded, yay dakka dakka! I really should check in around here more often, and see what you are all up to

I honestly thought I had commented here before, shame on me. Your squiggoths, chariots from heck and Mad Max style greenskins are awesome! The Snake Bites are looking nice already and they're reminding me of the Feral Ork army list from 3rd edition 40K.

I have a bunch of City Crushers I haven't built yet- I'm going to bear your modifications in mind as it looks good.

I'm envious that you got to meet Adrian Wood, that is so cool! I loved his stuff from the old WDs.
Hope Goonhammer goes well, mate.
