Yes I can imagine that was.. tiring :(

I complain about a 3 hour drive from one side of Ireland to another, when I actually compare that with how far some people have to commute, it seems to petty ><

Our last move had to be done in one trip, it was horrible. This time we are actually only moving about 15 minutes down the road into the heart of the small town we near by, instead of living in a very isolated area outside. We get to do the move over 3 days instead of in one trip, so it is totally going to be a lot more relaxed than last time!

The Space Wolves are looking excellent Iffy, the gold on the dread is turning out really nice.

I bet you cant wait to get your own painting area.

Also good to see the commission requests are picking up, means we get to see loads more lovely painted minis.

Thanks dude!
Lots of crazy stuff, I am waiting for confirmation on a few after sending back prices and turnover ideas etc, but the ones mentioned so far have been super cool. FW nurgle sorc, FW vampire counts wraith, Some orkies, some bretonian knights, lots of marines of various levels of awesome, oh and a Mortis engine (oh my god).

Also likely to be painting up some interesting little dudes for a fanzine, so I will totally try and keep peeps up to date on those

It is total madness.

Something I learned the hard way, shake the pot and then open the lid and place it upside down on top. Paint from the residue in the lid. Way more particles of leaf and a little more controllable as it is thicker in there. Top up from pot when needed, then empty it back in when you are done. Keeping it on top of the pot will keep the rest of the paint relatively free of air.

Heh, yes, you have to use an outside image host for non-gaming images. Now if you had a shot glass full of liquor with an Imperial aquila or Inquisitor symbol...Kid Kyoto might let that one through.

My younger years made me leery of Vodka, Schnapps, and Whiskey. What do you recommend with Rum, Bailey's, or Vermouth?

Spoiler:
I think she has started my Necromunda minis (among other commissions) but we will have to wait and see. It might be her weekend break now.

EDIT: To correct my misspelling. Latin words are evil.

Everything that contains vodka automatically needs more vodka. Fact. There will indeed be lots of things, but not very pretty! More disgusting and rotten and also Orky.

Baileys + kahlua = oh my god, as Gits recently reminded me.
Shot glass 3/4 full of Kahlua, then place a teaspoon on top of it and carefully pour on bailies. It stays on top and looks like a tiny Guinness, tastes like an explosive coffee taste bomb.

I'm seriously finding that good ginger ale goes extremely well with Rum and Whisky, maybe even Vodka. The good quality stuff is so spicy and warm already, the fizz and alcohol just mix into absolute delicious.

I have indeed started your dudes, in fact, started does not do them justice, they nearly have all their bases down (I started them with white undercoat) and then they are being washed into dirty Nurgly heaven. The only reason I havn't taken shots is because they are extremely bright at the moment and won't look good till they start being washed, but expect shots today

No rush on the pics. Do it when you think they're ready for public release. Anticipation can be a good thing.

While we're waiting, we might get more tasty alchohol drink mix recipes.

I'd forgotten about Kahlúa and my local grocer doesn't stock it. Piffle. I'll shop further afield tomorrow.

The Ginger Beer sounds delicious and there is a German distributor not far from here so someone around here must have some. Another hunt for a different day but the "quest" should be interesting.

It could be my "Holy Grail".

Yes they are totally not ready for the public just now, they would be trying to cover themselves and shrieking if I tried to take a shot. Give it a couple of hours however...

Currently walking around the house picking up things to throw away in preparation for the move. I found a giant bottle of Jaeger and some triple sec (why do I even have this..). I also found a bottle of champagne in.. the spare toilet.

What is going on?

Glory to the Twelfth! Glory to Angron!

‎"Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls. The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does. That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

Did your hair instantly turn a fiery red? I hear that can happen.

SO, nurgly men.

Click 4 big yo

Skin, cloth, and metal done, super dirty and a nice limited palette. Still to go is their hair, and all their dirty Nurgly features. Spots, oozy bruises, weepy cuts, disgusto things like that.
Also need rotten teeth and horrible spit splots, and weeping pus / blood from eyes. HOW FREAKING LOVELY.
Tabletop but going a bit silly with the skin effects because it is fun.

Ps, check out heavy weapons guy at the end there. He has no Sandvich. :(

It seems wrong to use the adjective "beautiful" for anything that has to do with Nurgle, so I will say instead, "Wonderful"!

They will fit in great as some of the antagonists in my fallen Imperial city. Now I need to find some more suitable cultists and a few plague zombies as well as a plague marine or two.

Can you base them like you did the Inquisitors? I think I am going to adopt that style instead of my mechrite red scheme. I just need to learn how to use this black ink. How do you clean up your brushes after you apply the ink?

Did you post that at 2:41 AM your time? YOIKS!
