Started priming and base coating the Necromunda terrain.

Began working on my Inquisition Throne Agents. Two of them to be precise. On another note here's a couple of photos of my "completed" Attelus with auto rifle.

Did some more work on my Inquisition agents today, finished the two I began yesterday.

The gaming club was also on today and we ran a scenario I made for Grimdark Future: Firefight where one side is trying to kill civilians while the other is trying to protect them. I played as Havok Brothers or Chaos Marines trying to kill the civvies as it was part of the ritual for the next game which is to summon daemons so if I killed all 8 (being the number of Chaos) I would only have to protect the ritual for 4 rounds instead of 5. Inquisitorial Stormtroopers trying to protect them, but he only protected one and that was enough and this lead to the Havok Brothers defeat despite killing 7 out of 8. It was so fun, but I think to balance the scenario there needs to be 9 civilians and having to kill 8 of them.

More work on the Necromunda terrain.

Been a bit tired of hobby stuff so haven't done much the last couple of days. But today made myself paint a couple more Inquisition Agent proxies.

Built and undercoated the Norn Emissary tyranid.
I have to say how disappointed I am about its size.

Honestly part of me was sad it wasn't "Eldar Knight" sized when I saw the preview images, but honestly I think its actually a really nice size of model in a practical sense. You can actually transport it and such - sometimes super-mega-massive models look cool but when you come to actually get them to the table and play with them they become less practical - and tall ones get shot off the table faster

I see what you mean, but iv not played yet. I say yet, I keep meaning to learn but seem to get around to it.
I was just wanting it to stand out when on the shelf with the others.
But I think even the Mowloc at least equals it.

Had a few weeks of craziness so it's good to be painting again. What am I painting? Walls, mainly. Hobby walls, and also house walls.

More work on my Inquisition agent minis, almost finished three and began base painting a 6th.

Played a game of grim dark future yesterday. Ratmen versus rubrics cube marines.

Didn't do much work for long today, but I managed to get quite a bit more progress on my Throne Agents.

Got some Byzantine spearmen to finish between sessions for work, and then on to building the archers!

Another small piece of terrain done.

Made more progress on my Inquisition Agent proxies. Began base painting two more.

Hoping to continue on my CSM combat patrol.

Got the Havocs primed, based and sketched.
Finished one up to 90% but it took to long and I don't like the looks of it. So I'll try to correct the NNM today.

I tried stippeling, but it's not as clean as I hoped it to be. So I'll be trying layering today.

Now that I'm back from GenCon it's time to get the extra weapons painted & magnetized for my friends LI Reaver.
Should take me tonight/tomorrow night.

Then it's on to building new minis I bought at the con!
I'd like to also get them primed/based as well. But we've got 70%+ humidity going on atm, so....

Play tested the daemon summoning scenario I made for Grimdark Future: Firefight (which is pretty much the same scenario I ran in my The Angaran Chronicles: The Skirmish Game BatRep I posted here last year) Havok Brothers defending it (or Chaos Space Marines) while Inquisitorial Stormtroopers led by Inquisitor Arlathan Karkin and supported by Attelus Kaltos all from Secret War. The Chaos Marines utterly curbstomped the Inquisition. They lost two dudes while everyone but Attelus were killed (he failed his morale test, which is the 2nd game in a row despite having a Quality of 3+, forgot to give him Fearless again, so that didn't help) I put the game on 44x30 table with deployment being on the widths and that really didn't work in the Inquisition. I also didn't have Attelus and a Stormtrooper come out of Ambush until turn 4. I did that because I hoped the Arlathan and the Stormtroopes might've managed to kill more Chaos Marines by then, but oh well.

Also. set up the table for my next Five Parsecs from Home Encounter, wanted to play, but was too tired, hoping to get the time to play through that tomorrow!

Spent good chunk of time painting 3 companies worth of Blood Angels for LI. Coming along nicely with just the armoured part of the force to start on tomorrow.

My games club got given a RoB table, and a couple of (I think) FW tiles for it.

A fortress piece, and a crashed thunderhawk. The desert part of the crashed T-hawk was painted, but the aircraft wreck itself is still that colour. I'm thinking of adding some colour to it, to give it a little more *impact*...

Crashed T-hawk, impact ... Tip your waiter, I'll be here all week.


I put it to a club vote, and atm, Ultramarine blue is the leading colour choice. It will pop against the background.

Finished my 20th Five Parsecs from Home Encounter today. The last Quest mission in a Quest chain. Despite two of my heavy hitters being unable to fight (Attelus and Torris) The Shadow Warriors won handily against the enemy K'erin.

Put some of the Fantasy project aside as I started painting 6 Von Ryan's Leaper for a upcoming mini tournament we have between a group of friend. Gonna be testing the White Dwarf Tyranids Combat Patrol from a few months ago, and I need an extra 6 Leapers paint (there is 9 in the patrol)!

Some undead and terrain kitbashing etc.

Went through the 21st Campaign Turn of Five Parsecs from Home, set up the job and such my crew are doing. I also made more progress on my Inquisition Agent proxies. I'm slowly becoming more consistent with painting skin well and now I'm beginning to almost enjoy painting skin.

Almost finished one of the Interrogator minis for my Inquisition agent proxies and I'm very happy with him so far.

Catching up on building & basecoating a bunch of misc stuff I brought home from GenCon last week.

Might be a fair bit before any of its ever truly painted, but it'll all be built/basecoated by tomorrow.

Knocked out all the remaining detail & basing on a friends LI Reaver. Just 1 extra weapon left to finish up & magnetize.

Had the game day with the kids today, was fun. I just wish I could get them to concentrate. Also, rolled up the next Five Parsecs from Home Encounter and got a Stealth mission for the first time. It'll be interesting to see how it goes.
