I was demoralised due to still being unable to find the Anaconda TAG's right arm I lost like a stupid-head no matter how hard I looked. I should write that short story I have at the back of my mind about the hobbyist who loses a part for a model which he can't find, but he searches so hard that he finds a tiny tear in the floor where the piece should logically be, and he gets sucked through it to meet the horrid eldritch abomination that makes the miniature bits disappear to feed on the searchers anger, frustration and eventual insanity. It's added irony as for a while, I couldn't find the pinup-style mini that's the TAG's pilot left arm as well. It was tiny, but it didn't take me long to find it, where it's taking me ages to find an arms as big as the entirety of the pilot.
I'll stop whining and ranting, lol now. So, I grabbed on a whim a statuette I bought from Etsy, last year? Maybe? Of Ivy Valentine from Soul Calibur. I'd put a lot of work into her with my air brush which I wasn't too happy with so I left her standing around literally gathering dust for months. I dusted her off and began painting her and had a great time! I'm also really happy with how she's turning out. I decided to paint her armour panels NMM gold because I'm a masochist, apparently, and it's looking good. I'm glad I bought John Blanche's Army Painter paint sets a while back as I use Sunburst Ochre as the mid tone for NMM gold and for Ivy mixing it with Mahogany from AK Interactive for the shade. I plan on mixing it with Moon Beam Yellow (from the other John Blanche set) Then white to make the high lights.

My story! Secret War
After his organisation is hired to hunt down an influential gang leader on the Hive world, Omnartus. Attelus Kaltos is embroiled deeper into the complex world of the Assassin. This is the job which will change him, for better or for worse. Forevermore. Chapter 1.
The Angaran Chronicles: Hamar Noir. After coming back from a dangerous mission which left his friend and partner, the werewolf: Emilia in a coma. Anargrin is sent on another mission: to hunt down a rogue vampire. A rogue vampire with no consistent modus operandi and who is exceedingly good at hiding its tracks. So much so even the veteran Anargrin is forced into desperate speculation. But worst of all: drive him into desperate measures. Measures which drives Anargrin to wonder; does the ends, justify the means?

Jumping a bit from project to project here, seems to be recurring this time of the year for me!
I did a big update on some units for my Nids, namely I updated all the base sizes for my Gaunts, about 90 of them (the others are the new one already on 28mm bases). I glued them all on some base extender rings so as to not redo the basing. Glue the ring on and done. Plus I got some new 5-man movement tray for them in 28mm size too to go with them. Glued some metal disk in there for the magnet to held them in place.
All this work led to another issue, storing them in my foam trays with their updated base size and tray.
So I did a big overhaul of my foam trays as I went along updating the bases. I redid the whole configuration and playing around trying to find the most optimal way!
All-in-all that was an extensive update, lots of reconfiguration and tetris work to get the most out of my foams. I planned some space for a few units I still have to build, I added some models that had yet to have a spot in a foam tray, so there was a lot of work to do there!
Now I'm on to update my Old World Chaos Warriors models bases too. Got all the trays I needed before, now I got base adapter for them too to upgrade their base size, and adding some AK texture to blend them in (GW texture would be too expensive for that!). Nearly done with my first unit, so far so good! And of course magnetizing them too with magnetic foil under the base (with metal rubber in the tray).

Fiddling with my 3d Printing.
Second attempt to print something went even worse than the first. But it’s all a learning curve.
Probably doesn’t help this was originally designed for Filament, which has different strengths and weaknesses to Resin.
Main bit printed fine though, which is the important thing, as that alone once painted up nice will make a really good present.

I primed 30 bases today... and then forgot about them outside as I watched a Marvel movie marathon.

I made a lot of progress on my Ivy Valentine statuette. Quite happy with the NMM on her golden armour plates. I also highlighted her skin with Scale75 Pale Flesh and it gave her a stronger contrast. Uh, yeah. Still have a lot to work on including her sword, which I'm not looking forward to painting.

Built the last 2 units of Clones that I currently have. I will get them primed this coming weekend, if the weather gets above 50 again.
Anything else I want for my Republic Force is yet to be released/re-released.
I got all the Clones and Jedi primed.
Except...
I found a box of ARC Troopers at the LFGS.
Got them assembled.
Now they have to wait for another good day.
This holiday weekend will be spent refining my Clone/Storm trooper white armor paint techniques.

Was suppose to get together with a buddy of mine and play Kill Team this weekend. Which is great! I have everythying painted up and ready to go.
Then he messaged me asking "You know how to play Mordheim?"
So now instead of Kill Team, we are playing Mordheim...so I gotta finish painting a few things...

Yesterday I put together 20 more Veer Myn with ray guns.
Today I got 10 Maligni (Veer Myn with heavy weapons) two Progenitors (leader characters) and two Tunnel Runners (Sci Fi Doomwheels) done, along with 4 Nightmares (Sci Fi Rat Ogres).
Generally sticking with my plan of giving everyone a gas mask, except the Tunnel Runner pilot, he's slightly smaller so the gasmask head didn't really fit.
Nightmares and infantry are HIPS but the characters and tunnel runners are restic. The restic went together really well, no warping and barely any clean up needed.
I've had a lot of fun again putting together this set, and the value for money is just incredible. Got another one of the big drill vehicles to put together and it's done.

Anyone dropped a recently primed base in the grass and then tried to postpone lawn work to look for it, and then when asked if you mowed the lawn, you respond that you were looking for a primed Warhammer base you dropped in the grass... and everyone assumes you were just being lazy and avoiding working outside?

No. But I do need to go hunting for the Nephloofs Dog Eggs in my lawn tomorrow.
That’ll be an experience.
