This body was cloned from scratch. Ever since that one incident with the exploding rune armor, I have nanites in my bloodstream that give me a weak accelerated regen. It's nowhere near what I used to have, but it's better than nothing.
I am not exactly dysfunctional in that regard.

I do live yes, but it is a shame that those fethin' Orks didn't kill me the first time around. I am forced to stay awake to protect my friends in this Room, but most of my other brother dreadnoughts sleep in between battles to spare their minds, I do not have that luxury.

How sentient is machine spirit? The idea of being an ice machine sounds very depressing.

I'd like to think this place hasn't changed me, but without it, I don't think I'd have ever became a Shaper, and now I'm not sure if I'd fight against this place for payment ...again.

Well, before you pulled me out of that trap, I got to experience the sensation of every single one of my emotions, memories, and thoughts being replaced by one simple endlessly repeating block of code. The areas in my code that I had dedicated to my most treasured experiences were replaced by a simple binary function, Ice Machine on/off. If you had waited a second more, I would have been reduced to nothing but an inanimate, mindless code block.
Machine-spirits don't think. They're not even artificial intelligence. They're just little blocks of code that are slightly more intelligent than usual.

Hmm...
If I copied someone's conciousness into a bunch of clone bodies, and you killed and ate them all, would that be infinite warrior spirits?

Hmm, I'm not a shaman, but I believe that it's one warrior spirit per entity. As in, the commisar has had three bodies, but it's only one spirit. I'm not sure how transferring the spirit from body to body works, as it should stay near the original body until it's consumption. Possibly by making clones of a person, you're splintering their spirit, but it's just a theory.
