You know nothing of this threat. You only see an attacker, and destroy it. Such incompetence on the battlefield will be your end. I know of these threats, I know their value. The Institute is more than an attacker, it's a cancer that must be excised. We must cut it out from its roots, and ensure they never complete their goals.

There is more than just an attacker, you fail to see this! You can kill as many synths as you want, but the Institute will still stay strong. We must kill the head, and the body dies with it. We must take their technology, and prevent them from using it. You cannot just kill the Institute with weaponry. You have to poison it, and slowly choke the life out of it.

We switched to different designs millennia ago though, radiation wrecks planets. Plasma, vortex, etc.

Radiation makes settling them problematic.
