Wow Knightley... that is one special marine. From the shield to the sword and everything in-between. Very impressive. You're getting better and better each mini that you paint.

You pace is great. I spend 5 hours painting yesterday and only compeleted completed 3 assault marines. The best part is that your pace has not compromised the quality of your work. Keep it up.

@Gits - Thank you, I wonder if I am getting better or perhaps my technique is becoming more ingrained and so I can keep at a certain level?

@Miss Dee - That would have been a laugh, I would have needed to locate a round shield for it to be accurate.

@MeatShield - 3 Assault marines in 5 hours is amazing, If I could get through 3 marines a week I would be more than happy!

5 was the last of the repaints (IE: the first 5 of the squad) Number six was done a bit earlier (before the landspeeder IIRC) double flamer would have been totally boss!

Maybe I'm imagining things, but I think I see more subtlety in your more recent work. It always looked great, but it's starting to look a bit more refined to my eye.

As always it's the little details in your builds that tickle me. Here, the use of that vehicle mech shoulder pad just adds a toy h of variety. Neat.

Yeah the rest will be double swords, means that in a pinch I can use them as GK interceptors with falchions, also any word on the GMS marine?
