Sorry Vik ninja'd you, his belt has 2 pistols a shotgun a grenade, a knife and an axe, oh and a pouch and a spare rokkit shell.

Not sure if this will help you or not, but I got to tell you it is _really_ annoying to see someone with so much talent getting all down about some other area where they are merely above average.

Your kitbashing is phenomenal.
Your greenstuff work is ridiculously good.
Your imagination and creativity in getting it all put together is superhuman.

@ Vik, Correct no idea what toy , but was a robot, fist happens to be a good size for this project. Luckily my son deposits miscellaneous body parts on my desk, so didn't dismember his toy. And I have no idea how he does it!

So PIP, well still WIP, he is still i many parts so yes he is tak'd together for a photo shoot, early stages on the paint.

I love the staked marine on his choppa.

That sword needs a golden hilt, and the marine needs golden edging and a pommel on the handle of that blade showing years of Ork looting of the finest qualities. (Maybe a space marine storm shield (hand guard) and power fist pommel?)

Really good start to the painting the marine is well shaded. You intend to do blood?

It has to be gold. Orks only want the richest stuff. Or bone.. claim it was carnifex tooth.

Gold for the hilt- but make it really, really dirty. So basically just drybrush some gold over the top, so it's still mostly black.

Like I say, got some touch up to do, and still have idea to add, still got to decide colour of his beard and his feather.

Not sure I will bother to enter him in comp.

I like it , plus all the blue accents make him lucky too. If he holds the ultramarine upside down then he gets even more lucky (horseshoes/omega symbol)

Beard should be red.

it´s a great looking model mate! my wife loved it, when i showed it to her...she also stated it is a bit too colourful...take that with your pinch of salt as you see it but you are asking to be picked apart so i will add my own little nit pick here... it´s the coat...the backside of the kaptain still looks like dough...i would strongly recommend you to sand it all smooth down or to add a thin and helpful layer of GS...to make some creases and so on...this is the only weak point of the model i can see...
as for the beard... why not add just a wash and have him a white beard?...the hilt looks btw very nice...didn´t dream of using such a pice for that part would look that good! (the blade with the marine is atm only bluetacked on...right? otherwise the bendy position is a bit akwaard...)
