Yea of 1500 backers, reports of shipping are still in the low double digits, and only from the US.

I am going to use them for a Silver Bayonet team.

I’ll have to see if the long Napoleonic coats would work for Centauri diplomats and courtiers.

The sprues look great, but there seems to be a bit of a snag with gas masked heads in the Artillery crew. There aren't enough Gas mask Filters. There are 4 crew figures, 4 gas-masked heads with holes for filters, but only 1 filter on the sprue.

The Command sprue has a similar issue. 3 human bodies, 3 gas masked heads with holes for filter, but only one filter. There is one head with gas mask where the filter his hidden under a cloth though, so if you used that one, you'd only be short one.

Not the biggest issue, and there is some possibility to borrow a filter from some kits sprues that have an extra, but overall it's an annoying mistake that may affect gamers wishing to field a more uniform all-masked army.

It won't affect me as these will supplement forces that use Pig Iron Colony helmeted gas mask heads (and these will also) but I thought folks should know.

If it had been caught earlier, they could have put some on the backpack sprue and shipped it out with various kits.

Not to gainsay what may be in front of you, but is it possible some of the filter pieces may have been knocked loose in transit?

I'd be very surprised to hear that the number of filters was reduced between the initial sprue run and what's been shipped. See my following post for the preview shots with filters highlighted:

The crew sprues I have definitely have 4 filters, two one side, one on the other side, one near the middle. I long since built the command sprue so I cannot look at that.

On a plus point, you've inspired me to rewatch Babylon 5 whilst waiting to see what I can do with my fifteen box deal and expansive GW/ WGA bits box.

I like the 30 second Vir - Lenier exasperated exchange at the bar.

Ideally bald or short-haired vampire heads. I have a bunch of Greek and Roman helmet crests that I can glue on sideways to the hair.

Clever use of bits. I thought a 3d party manufacturer was making Centauri heads.

You're all correct! Not sure how I missed them. I've edited my post. Sorry about that.

No problem.
On closer examination (now that i'm at my PC and not on a tablet) it looks bigger than the others, so might be meant for the Ogre's gasmask head. which still leaves the issue of three normal figure gasmask heads and only 2 filters.

Has anyone de-chaosfied their Damned? Would be keen to see what they look like as feudal not-evil troopers/kitbashed, as that's why I've got an order for some.

I haven't tried this yet, but I do plan to putty over the armor tears for the cavalry riders and heavy infantry in order to add them to my Imperial guard. The ogryn will also be added to my loyalist guard but I'll leave them rough.

I really think that with a head swap and an appropriate paint scheme these could be a fine loyalist force from a Friday or primitive world.

Not yet, but soon. The women come with a good assortment of helmeted heads, but the men Damned only seem to come with gas masks and Scarfaces. I’ll need to find some heads I’m happy with on them.

I love that pay off. WGA should make more terrain with things like pikes.

I've seen a few kit-bashes with trophy heads. Certainly historical but a few fantasy and sci-fi kit-bashes. It has been a thing in most of human history, and may come back in the future.

so if the army box conforms to what was in the gamefound campaign, it will apparently have 30 infantry (18 male, 12 female), 6 Brutes, 3 heavy weapons teams (3 models each), 1 artillery team (3 models) and 5 command models.

which honestly is a pretty good start to an army. no price given yet but most people are figuring it'll cost similar to the WGA fantasy line Skeleton army box in the $90-100 range, since it's basically 3 1/2 normal boxes or so of models, which at current prices would run about $100-120 before bulk sale discounts.

I'm going to grab that vehicle as a terrain piece / objective for One Page Rules. Not as stunning as the GW Necromunda version, but the price is right and it will look cool with a weathered, beaten up paint job.
