Here is one i dont understand.

I see the F word on this forum all the time , granted its filtered into "feth"

but how is that word any worse then "jerk" ?

Basically some guy kept using F word and was been a douche , so i called him a jerk.

And then i get reported for using "jerk" word.

I think you were probably reported for insulting another user, rather than the language you used.

Edit: I've not seen the incident, so I could be wrong

I'm thinking about gettign a guitar instead of a drum set. I played on drums for the 4th time ever at the music store with someone showing me ropes. And I couldn't keep the beat to save my life.

What should I do?

It also would prove I have talent outside of cutting up dead animals and painting miniatures.

Drums are probably more immediately playable (you have to learn to keep rythym, but that comes with time).

It takes a long time to learn to play a guitar in any way that somebody might actually want to hear.

But I loves my guitar to death, so don't judge this based on what is immediately satisfying. It really comes down to what interests you musically.

Got a really annoying headache and am struggling to stay awake at the same time.

And wishing that someone in the office would pick up their bloody phone before I beat them to death with it.

And @ Shadowbrad - I would personally get a guitar. to me drums are boring. Plus you can't take your drums with you pretty much wherever you go.

Just a warning, if you are planning to go electric eventually: Until you are playing both regularly, when you switch between acoustic and electric guitars it can be a painful experience. Also, electric is somewhat easier because it requires less finger strength.

And no matter what you do, for the first few months your hands are going to hurt like hell.

Really I thought the finger strength on electric and acoustic would be the exact oppisite.

Plus, you like Black Metal - it will take literally years to build up the guitar technique required to play big virtuosic solos.
