I'll definitely be checking out Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!, as I enjoyed the manga. And the perfect insider looks interesting. Other than that, I'll probably just see what other people like.

Watched the first episodes of Lances and Masks as well as Heavy Object. Masks I won't watch more of, was just kind of dumb I think. Heavy Object will get more views, though the "mech" concept is just kind of nonsensical IMHO.
Watched Return of Kings. Meh. Animation and fight choreography were alright, but they wouldn't let the damn camera angle sit still at all so it was hard to tell what exactly was going on. Extremely blatant and IMHO not even well done fan service with the only non-child female to get much of any screen time. Constant close ups of t and a, poor jiggle physics, and of course she's the only one in the fight to have her clothing damaged.

Pfft, it's a truly reliable design, you ignorant knave. It helped out the mighty Foot Clan in the Great Mecha Wars of the 80s.
Jokes asides, it was the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw the first Heavy Object. I also loved how they said "The objects were first introduced by a certain island nation.". This must be the author's attempt to mention Japan and be subtle about it. As subtle as a brick to the face.

I'm willing to give Lances a try, but really I'm here this season for YuruYuri and Is this Order a Rabbit??
I mean, how often do we get two comedy anime a season (probably fairly often, but this time I'm actually aware of them to watch them in the same season.)
Still need to finish Snow White, though... guess my weekend plans are set

The thing that gets me is they talk about that first object and having armor so tough it survives a direct hit from a nuclear weapon, but then all the clips we've seen so far shows a single shot from an object being able to pierce clear thru an enemy object. If the new weapon tech is that strong, why don't we ditch the giant armored ball and stick them on something more nimble? Will have to wait and see if that's something they address.
I just noticed One Piece is on Crunchyroll. I've always wanted to see that anime since I was 10, and now, after I've finished part 3 of Jojo, I can finally tackle that.

Yeah, I heard. 800+ episodes. Might take it like Bleach and have small interludes in between story arcs.

I watched most all of One Piece, but there were a few filler arcs I skipped, most notably the guy who escaped from jail one, because of how jarringly interruptive that one was.

I calculated that if you did 4 hours a day it would take you 60ish days to watch the whole thing.

Pfft. Put it on in the background while farming WoW. Well.. that would work for the English dubs. Subs... ehh actually give it a couple hundred episodes and you'd know enough of what they're saying w/o subtitles so my suggestion stands

I was going to do that, but Crunchyroll doesn't have the english dub of it(unless its buried somewhere).

Watch the first hundred or two episodes and you won't need to look up too often. You'll have the characters' names down and understand enough of the tone/key phrases to know what's going on most of the time
