It is a very fujoshi centric season so far... I'm not impressed lol. Atm my watch queue is Haikyuu, Gundam and One Punch Man. Looks like its a catch-up season

So far, yep, I'm of the same opinion, catch-up season. So far it's probably Noragami, One Punch Man and Gundam and I'm not expecting to add much more.

In addition to the ones others are mentioning, I also checked out;
Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou
Weird art style and use of color to this one, which goes along well with its weird story as well. Nothing amazing in the first episode, but I'm definitely curious to see what they do with the premise, i.e. All superheroes ever exist in one world and the group has to protect them and us from them.
Comet Lucifer
I get original Eureka Seven vibes from this first episode. Not a clone, but it feels like that kind of story. Good animation, decent mech designs so far.
Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen
Kuon is cute. No big mechas in this one, but lots of animal girls/people. I could probably find out more since its based on a game/series, but with a hook of an amnesiac I don't want to risk spoiling mysteries. I do like that the mysterious guy is actually so far physically super weak instead o of the usual superpowered cliche.
Gakusen Toshi Asterisk
Probably the guilty pleasure trash series of the season for me. Kind of like Infiniate Statos, except the main guys not the only powered male special snowflake.
Between these and the Noragami and Seraph sequels, plus new Gundam and other stuff, I actually expect to be busy this season myself.
Gods damn it, sorry, I'm just suffering from "Overlord Withdrawal". It's Tuesday ya know ...

That was beautiful. I thought it was just going to be make fun of anime tropes (loved the "See? He's even foreshadowing something!") but those blatant references always fun when they do that

I finally read the vampire knight manga considering it was the first anime I ever watched and I think I turned into a teen aged girl because I found the ending terribly sad.
So I got round to Char's Counterattack, the epic conclusion to three series, and....meh.
Lots of pretty moments, but the plot just felt half-assed, neither Amuro or Char's arcs reached any sort of conclusion, and then there's....well, every single scene Quess is in. It's like every annoying character trait from the first three series was carefully extracted from their original hosts, and then combined to create the most irritating character possible. Which wouldn't be a problem if so much time wasn't wasted on her, and there weren't at least three other characters who looked like they would be central to this story, who then get completely forgotten about.
Ah well, I've only heard good things about War In The Pocket.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."
So, VIZ announced they've licensed several manga series, for some of us that care, Kuroko's Basketball and Haikyuu!! are the two we're most excited about.

Man, so many shows I haven't heard about or watched over the last few pages.
It is hard to keep track of them all.
Anybody manage to compile a master list of them and what they are about?
Something Like:
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans - Mecha, action - Has potential
Sir Isaac Newton may be the deadliest son-of-a-bitch in space, but John von Neumann is the logistics officer that eats your problems and turns them into kit.
We could probably do something like that for each of the seasons as they air and place it at the top of the firs post, as well as something like "Dakka's Recommendation List" for shows that aren't airing but are still.worth watching.

I mean I'll start off with what I'm watching from currently airing anime
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans - Action, Drama, Mecha. Has potential to be as good as UC and CC stories. Features designs from Yoshiyuki Tomino (creator of Gundam), and story by Mari Okada (Fate/Stay Night, Toradora, Black Butler). Should be more serious than last few series. Iron Blooded Orphans is streaming on Daisuki.net for free (with ads) right now. (Alf's Note: I'm just looking at it on Daisuki atm while writing this up, so I'm not familiar with the site).
One Punch Man - Action, Comedy, Parody, Super Hero. Humorous series with fantastic action scenes. [b]Don't know much about the crew behind this show unfortunately). One Punch Man is streaming for free (with ads) on Daisuki.net.
Osomatsu-san - Comedy, Parody. 2015 "continuation" of an old manga series about a group of sextuplets and their zany adventures. Was known as "Osomatsu-kun" and featured the sextuplets as kids. Now they're older. Directed by Yoichi Fujita (Gintama up to ep. 201), Written by Shu Matsubara (first major series?). Episode 1's joke was featured by AduroT here. Osomatsu-san is streaming for free (with ads) on Crunchyroll starting next week.
Haikyuu!! Second Season - Comedy, Drama, Sports. The Karasuno Boys Volleyball team is picking up where season 1 left off. Season 1 is streaming for free (with ads) on Crunchyroll. Season 2 is streaming for free (with ads) on Crunchyroll starting next week.
Just as a general note: I've tried to include places where you can legally stream these episodes at the bare minimum. So CR is free with ads and a week behind actual air date. Daisuki.net appears to be free with ads and is airing it near actual air date. I don't have experience with it yet, but Funimation appears to be doing something similar to Crunchyroll, where it has some shows available for free users with ads. I can't confirm if it's a week after airdate or not. Funimation also do broadcast dubs where English dubs are released a few weeks after the broadcast in Japan.

I finished K so I could watch the second season as it airs. But it turns out there is a movie to. It was a pretty good series, and it's on Netflix. It was really weird, but i thought the ending made up for it.
Also I decided that I would watch Inuyasha from start to finish. It's a series I remember seeing a couple episodes for here at and there while it was on adult swim at like 2:00 am. So far it's a lot different from what I remember, but maybe the first couple of episodes are just more comedic than the later part of the series
