My various retro reviews got me thinking, what GW books would you pay good money for, if they were put back in print?

For me it's the two Realms of Chaos books (going for over $100 each on ebay). The rules are hopelessly out of date and were unplayable even at the time but the art and fluff were fantastic.

You hear me Black Library? I'd pay good hard cash for these while you're putting the book of hairy midget art!

Would people be interested in seeing Rogue Trader reprinted?
Some of the art books?
Ian Watson's legendary novel 'Space Marine'? (the one where boarding torpedos are shot up tyranid hive ship spintchers, and that's not even the most suggestive scene in the book)
What?

I'd love to see a copy of Rogue Trader reprinted in a hardback that doesn't fall apart.

The First Book of the Astronomicon would be good, too. WAAAAGH! The Orks would also be solid, particularly because it doesn't have a single friggin' rule in it, but it covers all the bases in Ork kultur and society.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

I've emailed BL about it, and they have no plans to do so unfortunately.

Check out my blog, full of Rogue Trader models and art, as well as new Orks...

Second the rogue trader book. If for no other reason than for the sake of nostalgia. (not that I need a copy)

For reading material. I would like to see daemon world reprinted. It was Counters best work for GW.

I also really liked Farseer. It should totally have had a sequel made for it.

Especially since the book blatantly says it's Book 1 in a series, IIRC.

I second the old Realms of Chaos books for re-print.

Wasn't that the point of doing the 4 Ruinous Powers books? Lots of Fluff and pictures, no rules, great for collectors.

I think pretty much all the art and history books theyve printed that go for $100+ on amazon should be reprinted. I own most of them and they're all a good read.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I've head that the 2nd ed Eldar book had good fluff in it.

All the 2nd ed books, really.

Those 2nd ed books used to go for $30 on ebay I'm surprised they went so high, so fast.

Ian Watson's Space Marine is at the top of my "To Be Reprinted" list.

Jes Goodwin's The Eldritch and the Gothic is one I missed the first time 'round, and would like a second chance at.

I like all of the old Rogue Trader sourcebooks, but I don't really see a very wide market for reprints of them. Sure, there are collectors (myself included), but there's very little appeal outside of the collectors and the hardcore fluff-junkies. Well, and people who player Rogue Trader (a small group, to be sure).

Another option would be CD roms, similar to the ones wtih all of Dragon Magazine, all of Mad, all of Spider-man etc.

But I have no idea if these things sell or not.

That was your fav part of that book?

The over-reacting Imperial Fist Chaplain who puts Lex in the painglove for throwing his voice? The Slann warrior the Imp Fists capture? The nice long conversation with the Zoat aboard the Tyranid hive ship? The armless, legless Blood Drinker? A Scout Squad commandeering a Warlord Titan? Or perhaps the Scout Squad climing up a pipe which cause them to fart constantly due to the exersion?

No... GW could never reprint that book.

I think it also had the classic line about bolters 'ejaculating white death'. What's not to love?

I think it would be cool if they reprinted Rogue Trader, but I agree the market would probably be small. But still cool.

I would totally buy a CD-ROM (or DVD, or whatever) with all of the White Dwarfs on it. I would pay a hundred dollars for it!

I agree. A compilation of all the white dwarfs would rock.
