Awesome army, love the paint style. I may have missed it in the previous pages but any chance you could give a rundown or tutorial of how you get the marble look on your regular marines? I've been trying to recreate it for a while for a side army but I'm just guessing on the technique. Any help is appreciated.

Prime white,
Watered down graveyard earth weathering,
Graveyard earth toothbrush splatter,
Devlan mud wash in spots that need to be darker,
Touch up highlights or spots that got too dark with bleached bone and skull white where needed,
Chaos black/codex gray mix for the cracks (look at cracks in side walks or concrete and such for shape)

How is it coming on the BFG murals? I have recently been on a BFG kick myself so I am interested to see your take.

I think its kind of funny how this thread just got necroed... Because I primed a FW dreadnought drop pod 10 min ago that I'm painting to match my marines. My BFG ships have been neglected for too long I must admit. I'm trying to get my 2010 tournament army all painted up right now. I've bought a forge world Grey knight strike cruiser. I plan on removing all the GK heraldry and painting it up with more reds than my other strike cruisers and It will be my strike cruiser for my veteran company. I haven't even started on the battle barge strike cruiser. So foxphoenix135 post or link your ships I would like to see them. Dakka doesn't have enough cool bfg stuff on it.

I have ordered some grey knight strike cruisers myself (cheaper than regular strike cruisers! What???) so I'll post some pictures of them once I receive them... All I have right now are some IN ships.

Here is a Sanguinus Primarch model I've been painting on and off for a week or so. I'll be using him as a astroth in an upcoming tournament. He won't be part of my chapter fluff wise or joining the ranks of patior angelica permently. But I'll run him for now as I haven't a better Idea for a astroth model to fit with my army.

I painted this army up for a tournament in summer of 2009. I’ve ran it for a little over a year now.
