Engaged (and have been for 8 years) getting married next April. That being said I was a late started not getting my first relationship until after I finished University. Turns out I was a total plonker and missed several opportunities with some very eligible young ladies because I was too dumb to realise. I assumed they just wanted t be friends as I had poor self esteem and assumed none of them would actually want to date. Ah well, such is life, and my fiancée is a geek, a gamer and almost perfect for me.

Getting laid is 90% mental. Looks, weight, money... these things help, but you can be a broke fat ass and still get laid. Trust me.

Well, there's plenty of good stuff out there. I dont' agree with everything the ladder theory and seduction community say, but they're right more often than they're wrong.

The trick is to realize that by a certain age, women figure out that they like sex. As long as you're willing to go after low hanging fruit (when I was 400lbs I wasn't exactly sleeping with petite ladies), and throw confidence, you'll be ok.

The hard part is developing the attitude. You have to give the vibe of not really wanting to sleep with them, but instead that you simply know they will.

I was engaged at one point, but as it occurred to me more and more as that the wedding drew near that things were falling apart left and right, I had to make the call and end it. Just to give you some background into how inconvenient a time it was, it was an amount of time before the wedding measurable in weeks. It took me discussing it with her mother to come to that decision. I mean, when you get told by her mother than you just need to give up on her, there's no where else you can really go to see further encouragement. At least I had all that wedding cake to eat afterwards.

Anyway, after that, there has been the "standard issue" several years of torrid and meaningless things go on, but I think things are getting better. I've found one who is cool enough to do stuff like actually want to go see "Evil Dead: the Musical", wear zombie themed heels to go see the Symphony, and drink a gin martini like it's water. That's magic there.

21 years old.

I'm currently single, but I've had plenty of relationships.

Helps that my other hobbies are Ice Hockey and weight lifting I suppose. I need to compensate for my wargaming love/nerdiness.

Wasa gamer before I was married and have been married since before Warhammer in any form existed, have three grown daughters now, two of whom play Warhammer Fantasy armies and my wife always has supported and encouraged the hobby addiction.

Still single but some girls hit on me now. Ever since I told a funny cooking story and I can speak in many accents.

Been historical gaming since was 15, have 2 kids, in fact No 1 Son got us all into 40K. We now have (in 40K)

Me:: IG, Orks, LaTD CSM in build
No 1 Son: Necrons, Eldar
No 2 Son: DE. SW, small tau force, building High Elves

No 2 son and i also designed some WW2 rules, we have Brits, US and Germans

Started gaming when I was about 11, had a few relationships and even got married, had 3 kids. Ok divorcing now but nothing to do with GW sucking all the money up lol! All my past relationships no ones complained I've been a gamer, a couple have been on the roleplaying side with me, and one was also a gamer so was pretty cool. My exwife never complained about the hobby (unless I had forgot to put a tool away and the kids found! Sensable tbh ) and was artisty so liked painting stuff up too. Oh and shes with another gamer too now so it shows women arent put off with our geeky hobbies

Yeah I think girls need humor in their lives. I tell adults only jokes. Like ones teens wouldn't even get. Not the sexual ones. The Adult business version jokes.
But I can talk up a storm if I want to. I'm just shy sometimes. Which makes no sense as I can stand in front of hundreds and hundreds of people and prepare a speech and I can't talk to one damn person! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!

Just over 4 months till i'm 18 and nothing thus far. I don't even make it publicly known that I wargame, and I even repulse other people who do. The only thing I had that was close to a relationship was someone leading me on for 3 months, before crushing my being into nothing. Girls react to me asking either by saying no and then removing all but necessary contact with me, spreading rumours about me, turning it against me or a combination of the above. Then there's the awkwardness of being bi but being unable to make it known due to the amount of saddos who will automatically despise you for it, so not even guys are an option until I can find a more mature atmosphere where we won't be metaphorically stoned to death for it.

So yeah, almost 18 years, several rejections, a stalking rumour, 3 people who've cut all unnecessary contact, 1 soul-destroying leading-on and a juvenile atmosphere later, here I am. Woopee...

21 years old here and been dating the same fine lady for over 4 years now. Before that I dated around a lot and no one really minded my all-day binges of Warhammer Fantasy with my brothers or all-night binges of D&D with my boys.

None of the girls that I've dated have been gamers, but my current girlfriend (the nerdiest of them all and our class' valedictorian) reads a lot of fantasy novels and stuff and has hinted that she'd like to read some comics with me and get into some RPGs.

Every women that i have dated in the past and including my soon to be wife, understood that i enjoy playing 40k.

Well it is one thing to have to lose every argument to your wife, it is another having her cruch you on the gamiung table while losing that same argument. So as long as they don't mind losing games to the girls then they could very well be happy.

Married. My wife and kids are into the hobby as well. Not as much as I am, but the very fact that they are is awesome beyond words.
