Reynolds was lurking around the naval academy. He believed that all this ruckus stemmed from that idiot from Pluto who started the fight, if he was going down, by god, he would drag that man down with him. He knew some of the best solicitors and lawyers in the sector (most from drunken binges at bars). Reynolds hated those from outer colonies before, and now hated them even more, especially those from Pluto now.

Walking past two members of the Military Police, Reynolds gave a friendly gesture to them, cigarette in his mouth. "Evening gents" he spoke, giving a small puff from his cigarette.

"Apologies sir, but you're under arrest" the MP replied, before stunning him with a whack from an electrified rod.

"Oh boy" Reynolds thought as he passed out.

He awoke to find himself in the brig, with a few other drunken cadets. Damn that godless cur he thought. He would get back at him soon....

@Snarky: Also, make sure you didn't miss my last IC post, Reynolds was in it, and was forewarned of the MP's being after him, so perhaps his chance meeting with aforementioned MPs could've been avoided.

BTW Let's not control each others characters. My guy is a jerk, but he's not stupid.

My guy hates off-worlders. Also you attacked me after giving him a kick, which isn't even attacking him. You got off light since I had a sword, but then again, I'm not one to go off on a tangent and kill other PCs.

I think this sort of thing adds a little realism. Having hatred and jealousy of others in the same organization is very common, and is often a part of office politics. The fact I hate him won't hamper my duties towards him, I might even be a two face and be very polite to the guy in the future even if my guy inside is thinking of the best way to make him slip up.

Plus I'm sort of stealing this character from a certain from Star-Trek..

Your characters have been in close proximity for six years, that enough time that you'd either adjust or be kicked out, remember the Alliance values co-operation and someone being racist and attacking other personnel would end up out on his arse in quick time.

Thats not the impression i got. I felt this character would let his rival get over-extended in combat, then leave him in it and let the bad-guys kill him

I finish collecting the last of my belongings, and then make my way to the shuttle pad to meet the admiral.

Gathering his dignity, joesph stood and walked slowly back to his room, no it wasnt his room anynore. Soon it would be another cadet following the same path he had just took, like he followed the ones before him, it was a strange feeling. Turning to the clothes he had left to change into, he changed quickly and packed his uniform away, checkig that he had folded it properly and without creases. Exiting the dorm i marched myself over to the shutte, saluting the adiral who was waiting there.

yes my guy was in the wrong,but your was to.less,but still.my guy was defending his fellow officer. we both lacked that to be honest and at this point your guy would be found in the wrong.my guy stayed to get his punishment,your went 'AWOL' and left.

Fair point, Sharpe will address it at a later time (Keep in mind she extremely pissed at the moment.) The reason you're in jail is that you've wandered off without permission, I'm going to write a post that'll get you back with the others and we'll say no more about it.

Right, most of that has nothing to do with me, so I'll leave it be.

As for "putting words in other characters' mouths" - No disrespect to our benevolent GM, but as one myself I know it's no bad thing. Knowing when to stop is what's important - making another person's character do something stupid or playing them incorrectly is way out of line. But a few likely words or actions are fine and help to keep the roleplay flowing.
