there more of a fun project than an actual gaming project. but i will make them look more 40k like with power weapons and storm shield. these are metal models and are color testers so no fancy things for them at this point

I cant wait to see how you 40k these up, have to say I do wish at times the orks were more realistic in 40k so can see the reasoning behind this.

But when it comes down to humour you can let that slide

i wanted to add wire to the blades like you see on power weapons. add some stuff to the shields and maybe make some backpack/power cell kind of things.

the reason i am doing this is to get my mind off 40K arrmies. i love the rules for 40K but i can't seem to find an army i like to play. well yes my ork's are my favorite army but they don't work on the battle field. i don't care about winning or loosing but i don't like loosing to a terrible player just because he has blood angels or something like that.

now on 3 march i will host an apoc battle. I will bring my orks and Rusty. i just realized that i don't have mega nobz

so these i build today. they will get some greenstuff but i have to wait till tuesday before i get it.

monkey and smokey need still a lot of GS work tho... the rest i think is almost ready to be fielded...

wait till you see the warboss Vik.... or should i say wait until i get crazy enough to build the warboss. i imagine he is going to be 7 inch tall

so what will you use for that warboss as a base? any model you are going for?

the cockpit will be one of the battle wagon turrets as i don't use heavy weapons on my battle wagons i have a lot of spares. the gun will be a a big gun from the battle wagon. his legs will be ribbed plastic card with a lot of sprue at the back tht will function like metal piping and the likes. and a lot of scratch building. mostly PC and sprue and bendy straws.

now that sure sounds big...!

guy's great news i found my army! as of late i was searching for an army that screamed fatty. i tried a lot of army's most can be found on my tread. but nothing felt like my army. but now (drums please) GW has released the models that scream FATTY! PAINT US!
it was also these units i wanted to play when i began with WH40K space wolfs where my first space marine codex and then i wanted to play

defiantly there awesome mini's and this is basically what my first ever list looked like. okay this army can't claim objectives but whenever is that important? (whisper whisper whisper) okay very important a well if i can't claim i don't have to worry about objectives. if i kill my opponent's army i auto win

The problem with orks is that i can get beat by a blind 1 year old playing blood angels. now marines on wolves i agree that just looks wrong. i can't imagine the pain in the backs of the wolves. but still i will make this army.

and your right Vik this will be my army unlike my previous army attempts. i really like your steampunk army for example and i wanted to make my own steam punk army. but the point is it's not really my army. so that's why i will move back to my original puppy idea.

If something sounded offensive or if i came on too strong i am sorry. I wanted to make a point.

i can totally understand that you want an army that has a fair chance in a game... no hard feelings on my part here! well we have to curtesy GW for making army updates like BA or SW the way they did... but since there is no law against having multitude armies (specially not from GW^^) then i think you can have a gaming succesful army and other armies for passion and fun as well... and i wouldn´t rule out on a steampunk flavored army by you... maybe if you start by one model at a time... that way you can sort of chill out with making such a model from all the hard work you need to do to get your major army going!

yeah your right. i have my fun army Orks and now i want my competition army. it's for a big event next year. i have 16 months to make this army

That is why I don't play, unfair rules bad balance plus just to lazy to build that many mini's

Dont get me wrong I have seen some great stuff with SW, and if you like them then its all good, its just I don't like the concept.

I guess I look at Space wolves that there feral instincts bring on the transformation of wolves, so this does not make sense of them ridding them

only a little blood loss as somebody ripped open my knee (not to badly just a few scratches and cut's)
i did knocked somebody out though he hit his head against the ground. in the end we lost the end score was...

yep! that IS the major rule in any game... be a survivor...otherwise the game would only be called suicide ...and that is best played alone at home with your head in the oven^^

then why do all of those parents give there girls easy bake ovens?
