Most amazing match i ever played was last night.

Operation metro
Time: under 10 minutes
Team: Attacker
Class: Recon

Basically half of my team was recon and we kicked ass. We just charged the H-coms and took them all in under ten minutes. Was very fun, we won in the next round too with defense.

It's sad taht BF3 isn't on Steam. We might have had a sale and I might have picked it up :(

The only reason I have it is because it was $28 USD on Black Friday. I heard the price was dropped to $40 bucks a few days ago.

Yeah, but I'm probably not gonna get any individual game that costs more than twenty for a while.

Genuinely quite good at flying now...
Though it's hard to get a chance inbetween everyone else...

I think my worst match was a 3 kills to 24 deaths, it didn't help that 22 of those deaths were suicides. It was on Karg Island and I kept trying to steal the US's hornets, I managed to take them twice though but most of the time I either landed in the ocean or managed to roadkill myself with the jet.

I got a nice 25-3 in TDM once as assault, I was pretty happy.

Just had the best game of Battlefield today, was the MVP by a long way, defending in the Terhan Highway game. Just littered the place with anti tank mines haha. And does anyone else get so much joy at knifing people, esp someone who has killed you a couple of times, got a nice collection of dogtags building up Just need to learn how to fly planes now

It looks so cool and preforms pretty damn well. Just got my 3rd service star for it today. Cant stand most optics on it, its iron sights are fine

FAMAS is too good (which is why I use it )

Is anyone else bummed c4 is for support? I wish it could have been an all kit gaget (or that there were all class gagets...)

Last thing, I need some sniper tips, Ive been using the m### EBR from coop, and just got my first bolt action, and it seems like the sv98 takes the same number of shots to kill someone, what am I doing wrong?

When I switched to bolt action I just started racking up the headshots. And I only started playing recon yesterday. I already finished both assignments for recon.

I dont even have the soflam yet

Question, for assignments, do I need to use its intended kit ?
(for the second sniper, it requires 50 headshots, could I get them with a favored kit and the recon?)

You can use whatever kit you want. As long as it's recon I guess. Haven't really tested.

And as for the laser designations. I got those before I got my soflam... I love my scout helicopter

I blew up three planes using just machine guns in the Su-35 on Operation Firestorm yesterday...I felt like Tom Cruise in Top Gun

I ejected and then jacked an enemy fighter that was on the ground, I was pretty happy killing hornets and apaches in a hornet.

I suck at flying jets, have never even managed to kill someone. I just don't get it.

If you can't fly your jet, at least learn how to crash it.

EA says its use of the choppers — specifically the AH-1Z Viper, the UH-1Y, and the V-22 Osprey — are protected under the First Amendment and constitute fair use. Textron argues they were used without permission and EA failed to pay licensing fees

just because one round hit you in the head doesn't mean he only fired one, with rate of fire being so high on some guns like the 249 , ping, and below average hit detection that has been an issue with battlefield /forever/, it happens =(
Its sort of the price you pay for a "realistic" shooter, if you can die in a fraction of a second it comes out of nowhere, the opposite of which (being TF2 style "unrealistic" shooter) being alot more popular with less ahrdcore gamers because of this.
