Its sort of the price you pay for a "realistic" shooter, if you can die in a fraction of a second it comes out of nowhere, the opposite of which (being TF2 style "unrealistic" shooter) being alot more popular with less ahrdcore gamers because of this.

Sometimes you get people managing to nail you with SMGs. They don't hit you in the head, they shoot you full of bullets my return fire is so innaccurate, despite it being the same gun in some cases, maybe 1 bullet in 10 hit. It's not like i don't try to hit them either. Not cool.

I haven't picked it up yet, in the demo I was running m249 with silencer and it was absolutely horrifying how many kills you could rack up sometimes, and sometimes you just can't hit anything.

I didn't think the hit-detection was that bad...if you want bad, play Black Ops lol

I did notice something funny, I killed people with the underslung M320 grenades, but the pop-up said I killed them with M320 buckshot...weird...

that happens if they get killed by the impact of the grenade not the explosion

The M249 is one of the best Machine guns.
I went on a rampage with it once, racked up a stupid amount of kills.

If you're being hit then your aim will be drastically off.

Gah, I haven't unlocked Squad Suppression yet. I have regular suppression on Support and Recon, and Squad Ammo for Assault and Engineer.

Haven't played Support yet (I finish each class before switching the next, doing Recon right now) Almost done with MBT and IFV too. Scout and Attack heli's coming along nicely too, though I use less vehicles now that I'm not using engineer.

Though I did pick console over pc in the end, cause origin is absolute crap.

At the point of when the PS3 was first released, now there's effectively no price difference.

$199.99 for a 4GB 360 or $249.99 for a 160GB PS3... something big in the difference of what each offers for just a $50 difference.

Service on PSN is lacking a bit, but some games manage to pull it off. MAG is 256 players at once and I have never experienced lag with it, but then again its an exclusive.

OT - Did you know your can jump on your MAV and fly vertically? Just discovered this the other day haha. It's a great way to get awesome sniper spots.

Right? I saw my brother do it while we were playing on STDM. Just be careful - it's easy to make yourself fall off and die...and people can shoot the MAV out from under you LOL
