This is so damned awesome when the community puts this much energy into a project! I love it when people get to go well above and beyond what they hoped they could do.

Thanks to Fenriswulf's help, I'll be able to get Claudia when she comes out. The backers have been making a bunch of suggestions for alternate weapons to avoid doubling up, so hopefully they'll either stick with the chainsaw or go with something equally awesome like the concrete saw, P-90 or M-60.

In for $140 for the abomination level + the limited figs. This will be fun to play at board game night with my friends. Welcome change from good old Scrabble, Risk, Dominion, Settlers of Catan. We really enjoyed Super Dungeon Explore.

Well, I put in my $100 earlier tonight, and it looks like it's now up to $680,000. Should easily hit the $700k mark. Boy am I glad that I talked my wife into letting me put in on this

This is my first kickstarter, So in two hOurs the take an average of $165 from each of us.
The people organising this then take the money less KS fee and are then supposed to forfill the orders. What is to stop them from just taking the money.
Don't get me wrong I'm not pointing fingers or suggesting anything, but am just wondering how KS guarantees (or not?) delivery. I'm happy with my CC protection but am curious of how this works?

I'm sure there are safeguards in place (plus the money doesn't get taken automatically from what I've read). But more importantly, this is Cool-Mini-or-Not. If they did just take the money what would happen to them as a business. Their own reputation rides on this sort've thing.
