Thank you for the kind words. I need to get back in the swing of things, hoping to be back to my old quality level in a few weeks. :]

Looking forward to it. While you and I have very much opposite style and motivation for playing and I doubt I would want to play many games with(nothing against you as a person mind you) you as it would just be boring roflstomp wins for you with no challenge for you and nothing but taking models off for me and thus complete waste of time for both but the reports are still written in nice interesting easy to read format(and it's WRITTEN! Oh so seemingly dead style these days...). I still can pick up thing or two and when you were active kept me bit better up to speed on current meta.
Would be interesting to read your thoughts on less kill based meta but guess that's harder for you since ITC seems to be big thing around your corner of the space.

Speaking of competitive 40k analysis and reporting, you reading Goonhammer, TPOE?

Funny enough I am actually not a fan of the ITC because it's so kill based. I've long wished that they would drop Kill More and all the Secondaries which involve killing for purely board control objectives. I can see some merits for Kill More, the Secondaries I've yet to see a good argument for though. I'm also going to work on some less serious lists, I have a ton of casual players in my area and it's not fun for anyone to just show up and whoop on them. I've never enjoyed that kind of game.

Absolutely I do. I'm not the biggest fan of their format but overall their content is good. Can't speak to their AoS/Kill Team/Necormunda stuff since I'm not involved in those games. I'm also fairly active on Reddit.

Updated with a game against Ultramarines. I'm using a more conventional Craftworlds list this time around, although my love for Shining Spears remains unabated.

Got a more competitive game against someone else who recently returned to the game. Ended up being a good one that I learned a lot from. I have one word: Centurions.

Thrown up a game against Orks, piloted by an old friend. How does an army built to kill Marines and Vehicles handle the Green Tide? WAAAGH!

Put up a small points game while I work on getting my ducks (models) in a row.
