3d is harder for me than sculpting, but i always prefer to have my sculpture in my hands, where i could change it at will... although im ust admit i do have fun messing around in ZBrush

Nope, it's my IP, they are just creating it from a design.

I do agree RW, I like to have the sculpture in my hand, that is why it took me so long to try out 3D. But wow, what a rush! I can get so much done! I have already made a turbine, and I am working on an off-road tire. I have made some ammo rounds, both rifle and shotgun! I need to make some empty ones, but that's no problem. I will make a string or clip of the ammo, and get those printed oof at some point. So cool!

Thanks Vik! Yes, that version is the shotgun I am haiving printed! The newer one is going to more like an autocannon or heavy stubber type gun.

Properly done corsets don't actually impede breathing all that much. It's when you get into 'high fashion' that clothes begin to actively damage the wearer, and that's true of everything from piercings to pumps.

Tipios, I could probable work on all three at once, doing a little here and there, but I'd have to finish them off one at a time. Wait....we are talking about sculpting, right?

Update! I know, I know, I never update on the weekends! But today, the wife and kids are at a friends house, helping with a yard sale. So I have some free time. I have been using that time on Blender, working my butt off!

I think I am done with the demon hammer for the Heresy Investigator.


I have a good start on the chian-blade for the Preistess.


And I even started re-working my War Walker with blender! I am really impressed with Blender. It may not be the best out there, but it is WAY faster than doing this stuff by hand.


I had planned on making the war walker hollow, to allow me to make the interior and a pilot and commander, and this way is going to make it SO much easier! I don't even have to cast them! I can just have people buy them from shapeways, to be printed out! I have heard that if I do the hinge on the top hatch correctly, it can actually work. If I make the hinge so that the parts arean't actually touching, the printer will print it that way, and the hinge will work! Of course I will have to see it, to make sure...but I am super excited about this!

I should see if I can actually make miniature with blender! That might be going too far, but it would be the best way to make a pilot and commander for the War Walker. Hmmmmmm.
