-assemble box of HE dragon princes
-assemble HE Battalion box (well, the stuff that I intend to use, at least)
-assemble Tyrion model

-paint a unit of spearelves
-paint a unit of archers
-paint a unit of Dragon Princes
-start painting Tyrion

Possibly:
-find something for the Dakka Painting Challenge

Build

My ogres need the work most to hit 2000, but my desire to paint killy things for my CSM might win out.

My goal this month is to finish my guard army to 1700, which means 3 more officers, and 108 more men, and a tank. They are mostly built and primed, but it's going to take a while.

Complete 20 graveguard and the female vampire.

Using the list feature is a bit unwieldy, so we'll keep it simple, stupid.

Paint my second Renegade.

Paint the Mauler

Build 8 Steelhead Halberdiers.

"Build" 10 Idrian SKirmishers.

Drool over the Steelhead Cavalry.

I like your spreadsheet Ifurita. I tried to set up something similar once including all of my unpainted pile, but it got depressing...

(these are going to be pretty modest)

If that gets done, start painting 4 Nurgle Terminators w Combiplas.

Build my last Chaos Rino and 20 troops

Paint all my chaos bikers and defiler, I've only been putting it off for a year now...

Lets see:
A 10 marine tactical squad 9 bolters and a bolt pistol sarge
Start on 6 folding gaming tables for the FLGS/Work.
Work on posable "Synapse style" pre heresy marines.
Work on preheresy company of marines
Work on Finding out if I really want to repaint 180 goblins and 40 black orks.
Maybe build the 6 basilisks I'm buying this weekend.

Prime and paint my Cyngnar Army (500 Pts.)
Finish my Chaos Demons, and start painting my bloodletters
Finish Tac Squad of Iron Hands
Predator and Rhino for Iron Hands

First time Dakka poster, long time lurker.

So like alot of gamers I seem to have a problem finishing models and projects I start. One of my fellow local gamers encouraged me to publicly make a vow and see it through to completion so we are going to give that a try...

So for the month of July I vow to:

Assemble:
Land Raider
8 T-Sons
1 T-Son Sorceror

Paint:
1 squad of Thousand Sons

Evaluate:
Need to evaulate my Legion Hordes army and come up with a 500 point list. Then I need to order the models necessary (if any) and set them aside for the August Vow.

July 3rd
Started assembling Thousand Sons. Remembered why I put it off for so long. The half-metal half-plastic models truly suck. Have a fair amoung of GS work to do to make the torso fit flsuh front to back. Then GS on the left and right arm plates to make the arms fit to the torso. not fun.

The arrival of the store copy of the 5th edition 40K Rule book has forced me to trash my June Vow and start over.....

Building a new army for the new edition, and I am going to start with some basic staples...

Assemble:

32 Fire Caste Warrior
2 Devilfish
2 Crisis Suits
2 Sniper Teams (5 drones, 2 spotters)

Paint:

1 test model. The assembly will take a lot of time so I am only going to ask myself for one painted model.

So much for those vows. Completely missed the mark.....Only finished assembly on 10 fire cast, and one transport.
This month, I think I will keep it a bit more reserved...

Complete unfinished concept model for paint scheme.

Gonna keep it simple this month. Get the rest of the toys out of storage and at least assemble 2250 of Empire. Also try to get SM and CSM 550 point lists painted up too. Oh, and have a fire-sale on ebay.

edit: screw the fire sale, I'm keeping my toys!

Looking back at my June vows, I realized I actually finished everything I had planned on

This month, I want to:

Finish Details on my Deff Dread - it's around 90% done.
Finish painting my Lootas
Assemble, Base, and basecoat my box of boys - maybe start getting some paint on them.

I'd also like to get closer to getting all the units I need to complete by 1500 Orks.

I'd also like to buy a Tau Crisis Battlesuit, assemble it, and paint it.

This is my first set of vows so im possibly being a little ambitious but im going to try to.......

Make a big dent in my Tyranid army:

Definately
3 warriors-base coated
16 gaunts-primed
1 carnifex-primed
1 lictor-primed

Maybe
10 ripper bases-primed
12 sporemines-primed
8 genestealers -still in sprue

So far they're all primed. Need to pick up all the paints I need before I can really kick off.

I expect that I will badly miss my goals this month as I started up some terrain projects. :(

The checklist helps. But a lot of it has to do with the fact that I'm not
grading papers at night, nor am I planning lessons or dealing with a
stressful job environment.

ah yes, the life of a school teacher. I should have realized. Also, I am feeling guilty for some reason.

Wow. I gotta set me up that checklist. My anal retentiveness just fell in love.

My vows:
- Convert 2 Basilisks into Hellhounds
- Assemble 2 Leman Russes
- Repair a poorly assembled Demolisher
- Assemble 40 Tanith First and Only from SM Sniper Scouts, Cadian Lasguns, and Wood Elf Hooded heads

My goals are to finish my nid army only have 35 genestealers and 32 Hgaunts and 3 ravagers and one bio titan (who is 50%painted as of last night)

Well, this is weird, but my vows for this month seem to have gone missing... Were there two threads?

Anyways, again:

Painting:
25 Krieg infantry (A platoon)
10 Krieg grenadiers.
1 Heavy Flamer team.
1 Inquisitor.

Building:
Hopefully finish my Knight Robot.

So far it looks like I might make it. I´ve finished 12 models, started another 7, and undercoated everything.

Also, all the bases are done to TT-ready standard.
