Ahh, conundrum solved

Just me being a gimboid again.....

For July I vow to:

-unpack the rest of the hobby boxes from the move

-set up a more permanent hobby table downstairs

-begin work on the "Lemmy" dread

-prime lootas, Deff Choppas, and Biker Boss

-dip a brush in some paint, at the very least!

I'll be more realistic this month... working full time split shifts while taking the boy back and forth across town does not lend itself to much free time. What little I did paint was all reaper stuff, not for my eldar army. On the plus side, I did get to do necron wraiths with my son for his army and stripped the hideous paint off the banshees, warlocks, and guardians I picked up a while back. I finally got a camera and made a light-box so look for my painted stuff in the P&M Blog soon.

July Vows:
paint eldar rangers/pathfinders
convert and paint eldar banshees
paint eldar warlock seer council

all of these are old school 2nd ed eldar figs... I'll take pics of them all WIP and pick da best for the contest

I have gotten just about nothing painted so far, however, I was priming all morning long today:

2 storage tanks for my refinery (rust brown)
Pipes, ladders, and staircase for refinery (black)
2 small building corners (grey)
2 Tau Devilfish (textured tan)
~20 tau infantry and 8 drones (camo tan)

Additionally, I made the plates joining pipes to storage tanks and worked on my Librarium Online Iron Chef Scenery submission.

Update: Cossacks are done, as are some Reaper Orcs I had lying around. MOWDC are assembled, but I may convert one of 'em using ST arms to give the unit some variety. Hoping to paint/prime/seal them this week.

Removed Ellyrian Reavers from the list as I just picked up the models the
other day (it was a pain trying to find 5 models in one place). I'd like to get
Gravus done next so that I can field him in my Knights Exemplar army.

I kind of regret getting Wrathe just because Soul Hunters aren't really ideal
for my goals. I really do need to beef up my infantry options for Cryx, and
I still have yet to paint some Bane Knights that I once bought. Also, I haven't
settled on an epic caster for 750 point games.

I vow to finish my true labour of love, the Death Korps Command Squad (the flashy ones).

They're my favourite models ever, and want to give them a good job!

I bought a Tau Crisis Commander, assembled it, and magnetized the weaponry/support system. Not sure I'll paint it this month as I can't decide on a paint scheme. Plus I need some new paints anyway.

Only problem i've encountered is that I bought a copy of Blood Bowl So that might get in the way of finishing my Orks. August's vows are looking to be interesting.

@Felix: man, you're getting a lot of painting done.

Okay let's see here. I had some real-world stuff that interfered with my nerdolitry, but I still did okay.

Although I didn't specifically post it as a "vow" in this thread, I finished my entry for the Old School painting challenge on time, so I think that counts for something.

Bah, got no painting done (although, I finally found a place I can prime my models with relatively no issues)

Did, however, assemble:

5 HE Dragon Prince
1 HE Mage
1 HE RBT & Crew
1 HE Tyrion model (really beautiful model, incidentally).

Maybe I'll actually get them painted up this coming month.
