The E3 intro to DoW 2, with the Eldar being confirmed and a mystery guest at the end that surely hints at the Nids this time round.

Viscerally brutal eye candy aside, the Eldar Farseer looks like a Marvel/DC reject with the human-like ho face and manicured nails. WTF?

Looks very cool. I certainly got the impression that the Nids are coming.

Daemons? No warp storm present, and we all know they are not like that.

I found it interesting that the marines had eagles with only 1 head, shouldn't they all have the sign of the aquila?

Elves no matter what "time" they are in have always been beautiful or eye pleasing. Why should this be any different? Your telling me you would be happier if she looked like the super heavy matorn mother of a nunery? Just what is the problem there?

I really thing this could be one hell of a game. Cut scenes are one other but if they are putting this much time into them the game has to be good ( keeping fingers crossed).

When? Damn it, when is this game gonna be released?

Those were ravens, not eagles. You know, as in "Blood Ravens".

Very nice cut scene. Definitely a worthy predecessor to the last DoW Ork vs. Marine vignette.


But after watching that, I think Warp Spiders should have some sort of invulnerable save. That was just freakin awesome when he started warping around to avoid taking fire!


I'm going to have to find a way to play this game. It's the only time I regret having a mac.

If only Phil Kelly had seen that trailer before wwriting the new Eldar codex, Warp Spiders would get invul saves.

Though the 2+ cover save didn't seem to help the Pathfinder all that much.

Maybe after seeing the Pathfinder being heavy boltered to death, the Farseer decided to Fortune the Warp Spider. Now that's a unit that could really benefit in knowing where the bullets are going to land.

Though after that turn finished the Farseer must have been out of range hence the easy bolt pistol to the face. Poor un-fortuned Warp Spider...

Gah...hoping for Nids.

Nice stuff! I like the Banshees very much, with the screams and all...how I pictured them. And the Bolters seem to gain a bit more caliber, which is good, the former ones were to puny for bolters.

Anyway, Eldar should have won.

I honestly don't see anything suggesting another race...where's the gal pointing at anyway? The moons or this strange cloud (which is, after these comments, supposed to be a sporecloud I guess.)?

great vid... although i think power armor in the video is too squishy... all the eldar were cutting through it like paper

Aha, but the banshees have power swords which should cut through like paper, and the warp spiders have monomolecular blades. So it makes sense. I actually liked the visual contrast between the elegant eldar strikes and the rending and chopping of the chainsword hacks.

I can't wait to see a full on nid swarm crashing into a charging ork horde.

There is only a few games turned into movies i thought were ok Silent Hill, Tomb Raider was ok, And the Resident evil films. Final Fantasy advent children was awsome. Just have to have the right people doing it or it'll get torn apart:(
