Ha!
The kicker here is that real soon we're going to need another car too!
So much so that I couldn't afford getting any of the transports from this Kickstarter!

Yeah, that's about normal. About what I paid for my Chevy Cruze. There's cheaper cars, and used cars, though. But you get what you pay for.

I have troops and Leviathan in wave 1, with a small selection of arms in 2, then 3 APC's and the black widows in 3, so I can get real excited December/January, then basically nothing until probably June/July by the time it gets shipped to the UK.
Speaking of which, is there anyone in the UK who doesn't recon they'll need their seated female legs when we get them and would be willing to swap for some components from a troop accessory sprue? I just want to ensure I can get a squad of 10 Black Widows seated in an APC.

Going by model count I think most of the stuff comes in this wave. Going by dollar cost, phase 3...
Given my existing mountain range of unpainted models, plus DFG plus Dreadball (also squee for that!) will keep me busy for a while.

I payed just under $20k for my 2004 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport 4 door. It now has 159,000 miles on it, without a single engine related breakdown. Only problems I had was replacing the front wheels bearings at around 108,000 miles. Still looks and runs like new. A few minor problems and some maintenance items that will be done in spring when we get tax refunds back.

We're veering may off topic here, so I guess we can take the Real World Car discussion to the Off Topic forum? It looks to be an interesting one, especially as you can get a really good new car for well under $20K, and you can certainly get a really good used one for well, well under $20K!
So - anyone care to start that conversation there, so we can free up this topic for real updates?

Sir, yes, sir!
Back on topic, somewhat, I wonder if my scratchbuilt Warhound will look *that* bad next to a DFG leviathan. I know mine is taller... but detail wise, I don't think I can pull off as much as a molded piece of plastic.

Same here! Most models coming Phase 1, but my biggest investment was APCs in Phase 3. That and the black widows add-ons were perfect for him!

No real interest in the big ones (besides novelty factor), but the little 'uns seem to be the right fit for 'counts as'. Perfect heavy support for my AdMech army. Plus, the first HH book mentions Knight Heavy Walkers, so we may even see some official rules for them eventually!!!

My Googling says "Yes".
Ghost Studios supposedly made the miniatures for Ex Illis and also WarGames Factory. Later, in the drama over WGF, Ghost Studios absorbed the WGF brand. So, it would seem logical that the manufacturer remains the same.
Nice pics though, looking very yummy.

Looking at the infantry sprue I noticed a few things.
1 back and backpack look to be two separate parts, which is nice, I was not sold 100% on that back pack.
2 I don't see any other weapons besides the main rifle, no rocket launchers, smgs or smgs with grenade launcher, not really happy about that as it makes the accessory sprue almost mandatory.

That is the ten man rifle squad, the 20 man Stormtroopers have another sprue for the other weapons and arms.... I would NEVER change somthing to remove items, but if there is space I may add items

Anybody else notice how well the sprues stack? GW sprues don't do that, they barely fit back in the box after you take them out. Nice bit of design there, Mark. Any higher res photos? I'd love to zoom in close to see some more details.

WGF sprues stack very well. I've got a bunch of their historicals. They're designed in a special way on the outer to do so. With WGF so involved in the process (contacts, etc) I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same company.
